About a week in— my lower back pain is gone when I wake up in the morning.I had originally switched from a spring mattress to a foam mattress (very comfortable, btw) but, I believe my box spring isn’t the correct style for the mattress and each morning I would wake up struggling with lower back stiffness/pain. (It was a struggle to put on socks or sit on the toilet)I’m only in my 30s and have always been in decent enough shape so I believe it was the mattress. It made sitting at my chair at work more uncomfortable as well. Eventually the pain/stiffness would lessen or disappear by the end of the day with stretches and heating pads.I decided to try this pillow for support. The first night, it felt uncomfortable to use this lying as I lay in my back, but I felt noticeabley better in the morning. After the first night, the pillow was more comfortable to sleep with (I also have a regular pillow under my legs, fyi). After sleeping like this for 2-3 nights, my back pain is gone in the morning. Life is great again 😊Context: I’m 5’4” to 5’5” and between 130-145lbs, female

Très bon coussin je le conseille avec plaisir car je suis soulagée avec mes maux du bas de dos ainsi que mes hanches. Je le place sur mon siège dans le salon ainsi que sous mes hanches lorsque je me couche pour la nuit.Très efficace.

really like it but not a big fan of how the sponge or cushion goes down but i guess that what adapts to the back shape

I am suffering from chronic lower back pain for years. The pain comes back at least every year for a month or two, then miraculously disappears, then comes back again. Over the years, I have gotten many physical therapies and purchased all kinds of gadgets to reduce pains, but none really worked in a longer-term basis (it worked only temporarily). I even slept on the floor or used the wood plank on the bed for a month or two during the episode.I have given up buying gadgets and physical therapies anymore because they are waste of time and money. I just suffer until the symptom disappears. Currently, I am in the middle of my annual back-pain episode. When I saw this lumbar support memory foam cushion, I decided to try this cushion one more time because I can use this cushion without feeling hard surface using wood plank on the bed and nothing to lose approach. It’s made of soft memory foam with slow (1-2 second visibly noticeable) rebound speed (this is the first slow memory foam cushion from the Amazon out of several pillows or cushions I got advertised as such) and very light in a small size. It wasn’t vacuum packed, but rolled tight in a plastic bag. When I took it out of the plastic bag, it expanded rather quickly to bounce back to its original form. I removed a pillow case and aired it out even though it didn’t seem to smell like typical memory foam pillows. It’s a rather small size cushion, but it’s okay fit for me. For a big person, this cushion may be too small for intended purpose.I have been using this cushion for three nights in a row under my lower back while sleeping, it actually improved my lower back pain considerably in the morning. It provided a reasonable support on my back and conformed to my body shape due to the soft memory foam. When I sleep on the back, the middle support zone embraced my lower back, then when I roll to the side, I had to move slightly to get in the saddle zone to feel comfortable. This cushion is designed and supposed to provide adaptive support on the lower back with the high-density (photo of unzippered cushion seems to confirm this) memory foam but soft, slow rebound memory foam. It has removeable zippered soft and breathable cover with a clean and pleasant-looking pattern and the cover is machine-washable.I also use this cushion during daytime for my old leather arm chair which is not ergonomically designed. It’s a good old leather chair and still in a good shape to throw it away. Whenever I sit on my chair, I just cannot lean my back straight against the back support because of the way it’s designed. When I put this cushion behind my lower back, it enables me to sit straight and lean comfortably against the back support on my old chair as shown in the photo.I had a doubt and was a bit skeptical about this cushion, but this New Ergo Life Lumbar Support Pillow did help relieving lower back pain for me after three days and nights of test. Everyone has a different body shape; therefore, this cushion is not for everyone, but to try it before you can decide.

I have had to use a wedge pillow to help me sleep for a while but would often wake up with lower back pain. I came across this Lumbar Support Pillow and gave it a try. So glad I did. I have been using it for a a few weeks now and it has helped so much. I did try to use it without the wedge pillow and it did not work as well for me, so I can only recommend it with the use of a wedge pillow. The only thing I will note, not as a complaint but an fyi, it will move around some if you are an active sleeper.I would, hands down, choose this again, and again.

I was skeptical about how functional it would be but the quality of the pillow is great and it does help with the back pain. It doesn’t stay on by itself so I have to adjust it but I love using it. It helps with back pain and neck pain a lot! I noticed a difference when I stopped using it for a day and found my back and neck to be so stiff.

I have two artificial hips, and I’ve spent my career in nursing. Even though I have used good body mechanics, I still have days where I have numbness in my right foot. I was hesitant to get this because I thought it would be difficult to use. I didn’t really get it when I saw it, but it looked like something that might help stretch out my back. I am very impressed and it has helped immensely. It was difficult to get used to, and it took me about a week. I position this under my shoulder blades and above my lower back. The effect was the feeling that it “opened up” my lower back and my pelvic area. I’m a side sleeper and the first few nights. I tried to sleep on my back, but woke up on my side. The shape of the pillow actually keeps it from moving into a position that is uncomfortable. I was actually afraid that this might happen and it would make my discomfort worse. But it didn’t. I haven’t had surgery or anything like that on my back so I can’t speak to that, but the part of the pillow where your body rest sun isn’t overly large, so it’s not an uncomfortable feeling. When I got it, I washed the cover. Of course it was a little difficult to get back on because it’s memory, but it wasn’t that hard. I’ve actually brought it with me on two trips so far. I wish there was a pillowcase that came with it, but I just use a regular pillowcase. It doesn’t fit perfectly but who cares. The item works and I actually gave it five stars after a few weeks and initially I would’ve given it three. So it takes a little getting used to, but I thought it was worth it.

I used this New Ergo Life Lumbar Support Pillow in my car to support my lower back while I'm driving, as opposed to using it in bed. It worked okay as far as lumbar support, but it had some issues and overall I wasn't impressed.First off, I'm a small, thin person. Secondly, using it in my car—a compact sedan—meant that there wasn't a ton of space. Third, it's currently winter, which means heavy coats and multiple layers. Given these factors, I found that the pillow was too wide to fit in my driver's seat while dressed for the season. It felt bulky and uncomfortable, not to mention that it was difficult at times to get the seatbelt to click. It was also awkward in relation to my seat's size and shape. No matter how I maneuvered, I could never quite get comfortable. The pillow doesn't stay in place in the car. When getting out of the car, it always slides out of place in some way. Getting in, I'd always end up sitting on it and/or having to readjust it, which then led to the whole trying-to-get-comfortable dance. As I said, in terms of lumbar support, it's okay. I didn't find the support it provided amazing enough to deal with the adjustment issues. Maybe it would've been a better fit if I wasn't dressed in winter attire or if I had a larger car with larger seats. Maybe the pillow needs some kind of adjustable strap or band to hold it in place if needed. In any case, I found the pillow too impractical to keep trying to use it in the car.
