The base and the shelf were thick and solid, with a black woodgrain finish.How did this stand perform? In one word – GREAT! The stand was easily assembled within approximately 15-20 minutes with the instructions provided. Most of that time was spent removing my apprentice cat from the thick of it all, LOL! I had a specific use for this stand, I did not want the rolling feature, preferring to make the base low to the floor so that a dresser could easily slide overtop. I wanted this set up because I did not want to rest the rather large (55” TCL) TV on top of a dresser and have the risk of it tipping or wobbling when the drawers were opened and shut. To accomplish this, I modified the base by installing M8-1.25 threaded steel feet (similar to those found under kitchen stoves, fridges, etc.) and placed adhesive felt pads on top to protect my hardwood floors. Easy to assemble and with a small footprint, this was exactly what I wanted for my screen. Now, I didn't get this to use with a large heavy screen so I don't have any way to tell you how the balance is but with my 27" 4K monitor, it works really nicely and with the built in outlets, makes for easy cable management. The frame is solid as is the wooden base. Overall build quality is good and I can't say anything negative really.

I couldn't drill holes in my drywall as the stud's weren't aligned perfectly to suit nicely in my living room so i was looking at the alternatives and found this TV stand, ut holds my 65" Vizio TV without any issues but it's a but stressful knowing that my TV can be moved on a cart with wheels 😅Nonetheless it's super easy to assemble and if you slide the base under a small tv table it'll add more security to it.

Excellent for small spaces! This moveable TV stand is perfect when you need versatility in your space. We are using it in the home gym which is super small and also doubles as rec room. The stand allows us to watch TV when we want and put it away when we need the space for other activities. The set up was really simple and didn't take more than 30 minutes to get the stand assembled and get the TV hooked up. It is really sturdy and the wheels slide easily on the concrete floor. It has an attached power cord and there is a shelf for remote etc. The height is also adjustable on the stand which increases it's effectiveness. We are very happy with this item.
