Needed something to help pull carpet staples from a hardwood floor after removing stair carpets. As long as there was some clearance under the staple, worked flawlessly. For staples flattened had, had to resort to needle nose pliers. Good purchase overall.

Cet extracteur fonctionne à condition que les agrafes ne soient pas trop enfoncées. Il faut alors prendre un tournevis pour y arriver. Les extracteurs courbés du genre pied de biche ( crow-bar) sont sans doute plus performant.

I have used this tool for about 5 years. I helped a co worker at the furniture store I work at - remove staples from a sofa that needed repaired quickly and he kept taking my staple remover ( that I had brought from home! ) so I promised I would order one for him. This purchase was me keeping my promise. He is thrilled, gets his job done more quickly and easily …he was using the forked style screwdriver then having to use pliers to remove the staples. You only need to use pliers for staples when using this tool occasionally after you learn how to use it properly. I wouldn’t want to do an upholstery project without it.

This bent easily on the first use and the handle is not really attached... just slid into rubber handle. Poor Quality.
