Need a new lid due to brittle plastic not standing up to the cold environment.Website does not ship to Canada and no other retailer that I can tell stocks the item. Moultrie told me to see cabelas. Which I guess means I need to go in-person and see if they will special order it. Because of this poor service I get the impression they just want you to buy a new one and send thr old to the landfill. Pathetic. Especially if you're one who hates downtime and are wanting you feeder working.I'm posting this review. If you're in Canada, get a metal one or some other company.

I bought this when I moved in three years ago to keep the deer entertained away from my bird feeders. It also works well to keep them in a huntable area of the property. I've changed the battery once in that time frame. I feed twice a day, so I think the battery life has been excellent. As noted, you will need to adjust the feeding schedule occasionally to compensate for daylight patterns. I did have some creature attempt to chew it's way in through the lid on top but it never got in and gave up. Overall I have nothing bad to say about this. I bought the Pro 2 model. I was initially skeptical about the durability of the plastic spinner but it has held up well. The only issue I get is that it occasionally gets clogged at the gravity feed nozzle. I quick jostle and it's back functional again. I think this has more to do with corn quality though than the actual feeder. Hope this helps you make your decision. I am one who investigates things ad nauseum before making a purchase and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

My favorite feeder, Easy to feed the feeder even for an old guy. Get the solar panel . Easy program to set. Just keep feed in it you're all set.

First time set up was easy and looks great and strong...would of given 5 stars but had to go out and buy more stuff to get it running....battery, solar charger, just to finish the setup. Would of been happy if this was all Included for the price it was....Academy Sports has it 20 dollars cheaper..FYI

Assembly of pro2 went fairly well. Programming the feeder has been a nightmare! The instructions are brief and not helpful.Youtube helped some

I like the feeder but mine doesn’t sling the corn as well as others I’ve seen in videos. There is a review with a video of this feeder slinging the corn perfectly. Mine slings some corn pretty far but most just ends up under the feeder. The deer don’t care. Also, I first put about 20lbs of corn in it to test it out and it did well other than the nou slinging most of it. When that was gone I put in 2 35lb bags. It did one cycle fine but after that the corn jammed up in the hole and wouldn’t drop down to the spinner plate. I emptied out the corn and put the equivalent of one 35lb bag back in. It is doing good now; no jamming up in the feed hole.
