I have been using this for a week now and I am very happy with the product. I am using this with a Maxximum large corded hammer drill. The drill it big and fit snugly but I think even an slightly larger drill would not have fit. The quality is pretty good and the assembly was quite easy (I didn’t feel the need to look at the instructions). A couple of items to note:- The circular opening at the bottom is aroumd 3 1/4” so using this with hole saws at that sise or bigger will be tricky.- The spring that pushes the drill up when totally compr ssed causes the drill head to rest about 3 inch above the drilling surface in my case so using this with smaller bits will be tricky for me (this is somewhat dependent on the drill you’ll use ymmw).Over all I am quite happy with my pirchase. I would still need to go to my drill press for larger works but this is definitely a handy tool to have. It made me use my corded drill after a few years of disuse as well.

Honestly, I don’t see myself getting much use out of this tool. At first glance, it looks like you can use it with a cordless drill, but unfortunately, that’s not the case. Plus, swapping out the drill or changing a bit requires grabbing a screwdriver and fiddling with a couple of small nuts and bolts to loosen the collar.Thankfully, I had an old AC Makita drill that works with it, but the collar is so small it doesn’t fit any of my cordless drills. Even with the Makita, the collar covers half the chuck when it’s fully seated.If you’re looking for true precision when drilling, I’d say it’s worth spending a little extra on a real drill press. This one feels more like a novelty than a practical tool!

Great product but missing key part. Space in clamp for drill does not fit common drill types. What drill is one expected to use?! As it is this is useless!

I just assembled this unit and realized quickly how easy it would be to cross thread the parts. Nuts fit loosely in place as you try to line them up also the clamp that holds your drill gun secure has it's located underneath it and so when you decide to remove the gun to use somewhere else, there is always a chance that these nuts will fall straight down and disappear on the floor. Decent material, seems strong enough quality wise. Waiting on my self guided Forstner bits to arrive to test a 45 degree hole.

I use this when I need my bigger power plug in drill for continuous heavy drilling which is inconvenient to do with the cordless. I have porches both options of these to suit both types of drills so I'm never left wanting.
