Highly recommended. Just that "one time" that someone is at the gate and their remote doesn't work, or even for emergency access, this is a necessity.Installation was easy, operation is great. Mine was installed off to the side a little hidden so thieves dont see it.

All this "Mighty Mule" stuff is sturdy and works well. I have fitted two double gate openers now and both are working perfectly after a few years in harsh winter conditions. Installation instructions are clear, remotes hold memory without loss. I recommend this brand.

Replaced a 15 yr old model. Key pad was worn out. This is a Factory original, works great with MM gate controller. Just not sure if the direct wiring will power the pad, would be nice if batteries were not required.

Love this keypad, and the fact that it is wireless. Programmable with different codes, which is nice if you ever want to delete someone's access. Only improvement would be a cover over the numbers, as they are exposed to the elements and I predict they will fade over time, but so far, excellent product! We bought the keypad post to mount it at car height so that you dont even have to get out of your vehicle to use it.

The keypad on our gate failed. It was 16 years old and had been flawless until now. I was able to get this delivered the next day. Took me maybe 15 minutes to cut it out of the blister package, read the directions and install it in place of our old keypad. This one said Mighty Mule and our old keypad said GTO on the front. I found on the reviews that someone else had asked the same question of whether it would work the same. It worked perfect with our Mighty Mule 360 gate opener. I'm very happy with the quality of the keypad. It feels solid and the keys have just the right amount of spring to make it feel as though you've depressed it hard enough.

Excellent product. I mounted it near the driveway gate into the back of my home. It immediately connected to the Mighty Mule opener controller in my garage without me having to do anything other than mount the unit. It has operated flawlessly. Highly recommend it if you have a mighty Mule gate opener and want a remote opening device.

I have actually had to replace my wireless keypad three times over the 20 years that I have had a Mighty Mule on my gate. Finally, with this FM 137, they got rid of the stupid "arrows" key in the bottom RH corner that I guess is an enter key? If they intended a button that has 4 arrows going off in different directions to mean "enter" why didn't they just have the word "enter" on the key? And yet, you had to press that button after punching in the code and I had to explain to everyone 'press the arrows key after you enter the code.'Now, FINALLY, and thankfully, I do not have to explain that anymore. You just press the code and the magic happens which is the way it should have been all along.

I purchased this keypad several years ago and never ended up using it. I purchased a new gate opener beginning of June 2020 (MM517W) and decided to replace my older weathered keypad, that was the same model just an older FM137 with the new unopened one. I never had any problems with the old keypad.I attempted to install the keypad today. The instructions for the new keypad are the exact same ones located on the mighty mule website. The problem is that the instructions are not compatible with the newest model gate openers (MM271/371/571, etc.), this is mentioned in many of the most recent reviews for the keypad. Some of the reviewers mentioned they contacted tech support and got instructions but then didn't include the instructions in the review. So here they are:***Change the master code, you can follow the instructions for the keypad to do this (not actually required to program the keypad to the gate opener but you might as well do it now)***1. On the control board press the orange button labeled S3, it is the middle one, on my control board the return symbol is above it. The control board will beep.2. Then using the keypad enter the master code and hold the last digit until the control board beeps. Then release the last digit.3. Before attempting to use the keypad, wait until the keypad beeps three times, this can take up to 40 seconds. Once the keypad beeps three times, test the keypad by entering the master code, the gate should open. This procedure worked for me and is what I was told to do by tech support.
