For three pieces of plastic, two screws, two nuts, and two magnets this isn't cheap BUT I have to concede it works well, fast and it's so simple. Put the stock under one end, lower one piece down until it touches and the other end is now set to half the thickness, whatever that is. Not just easy but convenient when your stock is not standard thickness for whatever reason - no measuring and no math.

Used it mostly to find the center of the wood piece and to adjust the router bit height. Pricey, but does what is expected.

I have been eyeing this up for a while and wish I would have gotten it sooner. Incredibly easy to use and so accurate. Saves so much time in the shop. Overpriced tho for its simplicity...wait for a sale.

This is actually a handy tool for setting up to cut half laps for woodworking. Would have given it five stars if it was made of aluminum instead of plastic.

For the price, I would expect the magnet to stay attached for longer than a day. I finally pulled this out of the box and enjoyed using FITFinder however the magnet fell out after using for only a couple of hours.
