Will fit on the front doors of a 2001 corolla.I installed Pioneer TS-A1676R 6.5 in speakers in the front, and Pioneer TS-A1686R 6.5 in speakers in the rear. (For the rear, you can use your old factory speaker brackets.)No drilling into the door, or modifying the speaker bracket is required. The supplied self tapping screws are junk however. If you choose to use them make sure to be careful when tightening them. You can easily strip the old factory holes. I stripped 2 of mines on the driver door. I wrapped teflon tape on the screws, then installed them in the stripped hole. It’s working so far however if it does back out on me, then I’ll be using some bolts, nuts, and washers along with some blue threadlocker to hold the speaker in the door.UPDATE: One of the 2 stripped screws backed out on me and caused the speakers to rattle while playing music. I fixed this by pulling the interior door panel out again, pulling the speaker out and replacing all the self tapping screws with nuts and bolts along with some blue threadlocker and reinstalled the speaker onto the adapter plate. For now this seems to be the best option so far.

This allowed me to install new speakers in my 2015 Ford Fusion. It fit both front and rear doors. You just have to break of the unneeded tabs, which is easy and by design. Also, seal around the adapter with silicone to fill the small gap where it lays against the door sheetmetal to prevent air leaks.

Great for universal use, however may not fit all speakers without cutting into the bracket. Great for use if you are looking to tap new holes into your door. I gave it 3 stars because it was not a proper fit for my 2007 Honda Fit. According to Crutchfield, this is the bracket needed, however it was not close to matching and did not accommodate my new speakers without the help of a dremel. Worth the shot though!

Bought these because it was recommended by Amazon and other car audio companies. It didn't line up to the holes on my 2003 highlander. I ended up returning. It's not the product companies fault. I think it may have been a glitch on Amazon and other car audio companies site. They are meant for most but I don't think it's for all.I didn't want to penalize the Metra for that so I kept it at 5 stars.
