I used it to change the strings on my mandolin and, boy, was it ever a lot easier than cranking the knobs by hand. Great purchase.

It exactly what I've been looking for. A winder that work by hand or power ( your call ).It fits all my pegs from Fenders to Gibson's and everything in between.I may get a 2nd one to toss in my case just cuz.Seems fine for my purposes , only time will tell if it holds up over time but I have no worries.

I’ve used this product before. Well made larger handle. I pop it in battery drill if I’m doing a few guitars. I’m a pro tech so I have access to many good products. Only drawback is the bridge pin puller is too small as delivered. I had to enlarge it to work correctly with diamond file. It’s worth it to have the hex key option though. Having the manual handle is a bonus.

Product very useful either by hand cranking or by using unit in power drill.

Je l’ai utilisé dès sa réception. Ça bien fonctionné. Je ne vois pas l’utilisation d’un outil électrique. Je recommande.

Haven't used it yet to string a guitar, but it looks like it will work fine.

This tool makes restringing so much faster and easier. It fits the keys on all of my guitars, accoustic and electric, and doesn't get caught or hit the adjacent keys when turning. You can detach the end so you can use a drill or a screwdriver with the removable tips but I like it with the crank. Great Tool!

This shipped to me super fast and I love how well it works on both my acoustic and electric guitars. Changing the strings on my acoustic is my personal hell and with this winder I was able to restring my guitar for the first time ever without crying... Five stars

Reasonably priced, usable manual or drill attachment string winder. Works. There are better engineered variants for more money.

I’m not gonna lie, I threw the handle part away, and just popped the attachment in my drill, now changing strings is a breeze and now I don’t care if I break a string anymore, cause rip, flip, zip the strings under tension before I know it. I mean what could possible go wrong with using a 20volt impact drive to delicately tune a guitar at full throttle?

Bought this one as a "backup". Did not come with the "drill bit adapter", but that is OK. Had to file off the plastic peg remover as all it did was get in the way if you wanted to rotate the string winder without extending the handle to a 45 degree position. Not a big deal, do not use peg remover anyway. The string cutter can be made to work with patience and pressure. The winder itself works fine. If you really cannot afford a tool in the 18.00 to 20.00 range, this one will work. Otherwise, if your budget allows, I would get a higher quality winder only, not a multiple tool, then get a miniature diagonal or end-cutter from Walmart, Harbor Freight or a similar place. Multiple tools at bargain prices, usually "almost" work for several tasks instead of excelling at one task. But again, if you can't afford a better one, or just want a backup for your bag, this will work.
