I never write reviews. But this product deserved one. We went winter camping last week in a hot tent with a stove. But the stove was new and released a smell that i could not tolerate and the smell didn’t leave the tent even if we put the stove off. So, I had to sleep outside at -21 C. Although my sleeping bag was good for -12 C, it was NOT enough for -21C. When I put this emergency sleeping bag in my regular sleeping bag, sleeping at -21 C outside was not an issue. It made a HUGE difference. And I dont know what i would do without it. Strongly recommended.

Hope these are sturdy enough to stand up to the elements should they ever be needed at a time of emergency. Great idea to keep in car, when hiking, and on the snowmobile. Christmas gift for family members.

I wouldn't want to put my head that far inside: I would be afraid of suffocatingUnlikely to be durableIt's a very thin filmThe bag is tiny: yes it's good for putting in your glove compartment of your car with the intention of not using it unless a real emergency, not good for regular winter camping IMO
