These easy-to-use, one-piece wheel locks function like regular lug nuts, but require a special key tool for installation and removal. The steel collar on the user friendly key guides the key into the lock pattern. The collar holds the key in alignment for easy installation and removal. The computer generated key designs allow for an infinite number of key patterns. The extra narrow pattern groove on the lock resists the intrusion of removal tools into the pattern. Every McGard wheel lock is fully machined from restricted chemistry steel made specifically for McGard and through-hardened for its unsurpassed level of security. After losing the puzzle key for my wife's Jeep wheels, I had to get the old locks off and install a new set. This kit is very useful because it includes a wheel lock for the rear mounted spare tire, and the puzzle key can be driven by a 3/4" or 13/16" socket, the two common sizes of 1/2"-20 lug nuts, so you don't need to use two different sockets to remove your wheels. After losing the puzzle key once, I made sure to register this new wheel lock set on McGard's website so I can order a new one in the future if this should happen again.

When I finally got these put on they worked very well. The only reason for 4 stars is that one of the bolts had no threads on the inside so could not be used on the spare. I have a steel braided rope lock on the spare already so i did have enough to do the 4 main tires on our flatdeck.

Have had a set of these on my wheels for about a year. Can say with confidence that these are great. I usually change my own tires and have had to take my car to the shop once or twice. So far no complaints about these wheel locks. They're still in great shape despite the crazy weather we've had in Canada over the last year and I don't foresee them giving out randomly. They also have so far threaded very very nicely, despite my studs having some rust. Overall its a quality bolt and is better than any of the other bolts I have on my wheel currently (not just because its a wheel lock). McGard also gives you a code for safekeeping which allows you to order your exact key should you lose it. Pretty handy incase you tend to lose things.

wheel lock package was opened and clearly been used, lock key and lock nuts have tool marks and cone seat clearly had been installed on a vehicle before, not impressed

My rims aren't that fancy but I have locks on all of my vehicles. Its very nice that this comes with a 5th lock for the spare tire on the tailgate. Great product.

Ich wollte eigentlich mit McGard meine BBS Felgen vor Diebstahl sichern.Leider ließ sich bei meinen Felgen der Nabendeckel nicht mehr montieren.Ansonsten ein TOP Produkt. Passt aufs Gewinde und einfache Installation.
