These easy-to-use, one-piece wheel locks function like regular lug nuts, but require a special key tool for installation and removal. The steel collar on the user friendly key guides the key into the lock pattern. The collar holds the key in alignment for easy installation and removal. The computer generated key designs allow for an infinite number of key patterns. The extra narrow pattern groove on the lock resists the intrusion of removal tools into the pattern. Every McGard wheel lock is fully machined from restricted chemistry steel made specifically for McGard and through-hardened for its unsurpassed level of security. McGard’s plating process includes three layers of nickel and one layer of microporous chrome producing a superior finish while protecting against rust. Fit our 2008 Ford Escape LTD with aluminum wheels perfectly.Great if you need to park in a dodgy area to hopefully discourage thieves and make them move on to the next vehicle (meek ones anyway :) !).

These are a standard type of wheel lock, and the third set of this brand that I have place on my various cars.The dealership wanted $200.00CAD for the exact same brand. They are not foolproof, but add that extra barrier to slow down a thief. Before installation, you should obtain the wheel nut torque for your particular car, and use a torque wrench to tighten them up after installation.

I purchased this set for a 2016 Ford Focus SE. I replaced all the stock lug nuts with McGard lug nuts that have a 13/16 hex (stock is 3/4) and this lock set has a combo 3/4 and 13/16 key so I don't need to carry two different sockets in the car (the vehicle came with stock lock with 3/4 hex). McGard supplies the OEMs so you know the quality and durability is exceptional. Very pleased with my purchase.

I needed some wheel locks with a tapered nut for my wheels and these were exactly what I was looking for. Easy to put on, easy to take off with the included lock tool and my existing tire iron.The paint seems to be of equal or better quality as the paint on the non-locking spline nuts that came with my RTX Vertex wheels.

They fit well and are easy to remove if you have the key. They are built well and have not rusted over a year of use in the Midwest. They are easy to use and help me to feel better whenever I park my car for a long period of time.
