Came in mint condition.Have no problem believing the 600lbs total rating.No wobble at all, these tubes look like an elephant could sit on it.Only « problem » is that back section is actually so wide I had to take my squat stands and catches a bit further from each other than I’d like to but I’ll get used to it and welcome the added stability such a wide base provides.Assembly was easy. As someone mentioned, just pick the pieces from the cardboard as you go through the steps, make it easier.

Great heavy duty bench, wide and sturdy. Easy to put together. It says its maximum weight capacity including user is 600 pounds but it can handle more no problem, I'm 305 pounds myself and i have done 500+ pounds with bench press on it.

Have not put this item together yet , but right away , out of the box I wasn't impressed to find a rip on the back pad and one of the rubber floor grips almost entirely off of the part it should be secured to . Will update later after I assemble the bench. *************************UPDATE**************************. Got the bench put together today. Easy set up. It is a nice , small , solid bench. Have it in my spare bedroom and I have plenty of room for all my gear . Feels solid on first impression. I am sure I can push a lot of weight on this with no trouble . Contacted Marcy and they responded the same day which impressed me. Still under review but the guy I dealt with said they would be sending me the parts that were damaged so customer service gets an A+. It's the perfect size and I am glad I picked this bench! RIP EVH #Respect

Unit seems very sturdy and well built, very solid and comfortable when doing standard exercises on your back, however if you want to do front facing spider curls the bench will topple forward with very little body weight. It would either have to be screwed to the floor or weight piled on the seemingly very week lower bar under the bench to support it. Did not give me a stable feeling for that specific workout.

This bench is GREAT! In the flat position it is very comfortable doing dumbell presses and flys. It also adjust up to 90 degrees which is nice for shoulders, and a bonus is it is a short back support on it so when I do ez curl bar behind my head for triceps, the bench doesn't get in the way when its all the way adjusted up and I can extend my arm all the way down and back up for a full range of motion. Extremly stable bench design, and that is what drew me to the bench. In a world of confusing complicated designs that are made to break, MARCY keeps their designs simple and sturdy, which is nice to know that not every company is out there trying to design a product to break. MARCY you can tell is old school and just designs products that the customer can enjoy for many years. I sound like an infomercial.....but I don't work for MARCY. Just a satisfied customer. Infomercial again. Anyway its a really good bench.

This is a good solid adjustable bench for the price range. It would be nice if the seat was adjustable. But overall I am very happy with my purchase. Very sturdy. Very easy to assemble.
