Esta bien para la casa. No es nada fuerte. Suficiente para madera.

I used this with a temperature controlled soldering iron (with an adapter) to insert threaded brass inserts into my 3D printed parts. You can find the iron and the tip adapter and the brass inserts here on Amazon. If you look on Thingverse you can find a slip in adapter that will allow you to hold the soldering iron in place in this drill press stand. It works really well for this purpose. I could have also 3D printed the press but the cost for the already made metal one makes the purchase rather than print decision a no brainer.

Too many parts to assemble for a basic stand. It’s not stable and need constant adjustment

The idea is great but the product design is very poor. Quality of materials is very low, but at such a low price I would expect that. The problem is not the quality but the design of the press. The drill simply sits in a ring and there is no way to secure the drill to the press. As a result, you must hold the drill with your hand and apply downward pressure as you lower the drill. Otherwise it will simply fall right out of the press. Since you must hold the drill by hand, there is no way to ensure that it remains perfectly vertical, which is the whole purpose of a drill press. There is absolutely ZERO advantage to using this device over simply holding the drill by hand. In fact, this device make the job harder, not easier. This device is therefore, worse than useless

Well, wasn’t really impressed with quality and how small the hole was for the drill. Found an inexpensive drill that actually fits in the small mount. So I decided to keep the tool.
