About this item

  • 【LINOVISION'S Passive 2-Ports POE Splitter】LINOVISION 2 ports POE extender is designed to supply POE power to two POE devices through one Cat5/6 cable, and no power adapter is required. With this POE splitter, the cabling cost can be dramatically reduced. Moreover, users can easily add extra POE device (like IP cameras, IP phones) to existing POE cable without running a new cable.
  • 【Up to 300 meters POE + Data Extention】Extra 100m POE+Data transmission will be extended with one Linovision POE Extender. And it supports two levels cascade deployment, therefore total 300m POE + Data transmission is provided. (The 2nd POE Extender’s POE Input should be connected to the 1st POE Extender’s Out port, not Camera port)
  • 【Compliant to IEEE802.3af/at Standard】This POE Extender works with all standard IEEE802.3af/at POE Switches, POE injectors or POE NVRs. And the POE Outputs supply power to standard POE devices, like POE IP security cameras, IP phones etc. The recommended power consumption per POE device is less than 8 Watt, and the max bandwidth is 100Mbps.
  • 【Plug-n-Play Installation】This POE Extender can be simply plugged with a POE cable from a standard IEEE802.3af/at POE Switch (or POE Injector / POE NVR), and then connect two POE devices to the output ports. No configuration or setup is required.

  • No, it does not require local power supply. This POE extender is powered by PoE devices (48V or 53V PoE Switch/PoE NVR/PoE Injector/Mid-span).

  • This POE Extender is not waterproof, but it is compact enough to fit into a camera junction box or outdoor waterproof enclosures. Or you can buy our waterproof version directly (ASIN: B09BD85MJD).

  • Yes, Our POE Extender supports connecting POE devices and non-POE devices. When connecting non-POE devices, only data is transmitted, the non-POE devices need to be powered separately.

  • The main reason is that the load capacity of two POE outputs exceeds the power input of POE Extender. In this way, please try to use 60W high POE injector or mid-span to fix this issue.

  • Basically, the load capability depends on the POE supply device, the total power consumption of two POE output is less than the POE power input. We recommend to use 60W High POE injector to connect to the POE extender.

Works great but needs POE+ source to run two POE cameras. They do get warm to the touch if powering two cameras but nothing to worry about. I’ve installed them both indoor and outdoor and they work great.

Have been using these devices for a few months now. My team of technicians use the splitters both as a tool for aiming POE IP cameras or as a quick expendable to get another camera going from the same cable saving on labor. So far the devices have been robust and reliable.

Tried other similar version this is the most stable to its competitors!

Didn't want to run another cable for a POE camera that I will be mounting next to another POE camera that is already installed.I plugged this device into my POE NVR (Dahua), plugged two cameras into it as a test and it worked. Cameras booted up and are functioning seamlessly with the NVR.The DIN rail connector is a nice touch but not applicable to my install. I will be using the two mounting holes (hardware included) to install it inside a junction box.Only potential issue is that the unit gets slightly warm to the touch. Hardly anything noticeable but it will ultimately be installed inside a waterproof junction box that is mounted outside in Cuba. The heat _may_ be an issue over time but I have no way of confirming that right now. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5.Definitely a money- and time-saver. I highly recommend this for 2 POE devices (my cameras run max. 5W each) on one cable. My install doesn't require an extension beyond the 100m limit so I can't speak to that.Would definitely recommend.

Works great with powering a poe camera and continuing the run using poe power only (my switch also pushes poe + if able, haven't looked into if it's utilizing that because it works)

Turns a single PoE jack into two. Running a Unifi PoE camera off one jack and a Fire TV cube off the other without any issues.Note: this is powered from your main PoE switch, otherwise you would need a PoE injector to make it run.

I liked the fact that I didn’t need to run another long cable run. This was a perfect solution to proving two devices with POE.

This device is not meant to split both data and power. It's meant to allow a pass thru of data + power to 1 camera and another port for just power (POE no data). If your second camera is POE wifi then it will work but if both cameras are POE + data then this won't work for you.Look for a combiner splitter if you need to split 1 cable for 2 wired cameras at the destination.

PTZカメラとレコーダーをpoe接続で1本の配線で使えています。今の所これといったトラブルもなく安定して使えています。

Works well as a powered switch for non POE devices (like printers) without the need for a separate power cable.I had a spare POE input on my router but only 1 LAN socket near my printers. This allowed me to split that into 2 LAN ports without the need for a power plug and cable for the switch.

My POE switch has only one port available and total power wise its running 50% below max. Tested it with two Hikvision fixed lens cameras that pulled about 5 watts each. Power cycled, about six separate times, the POE LAN port that is connected to the IN on this unit (PoE Extender02), every time the NVR system reconnected both cameras without a problem. Didn't try to replicate rookie mistakes of running at max spec for this unit as it always is safe and saves time to run under specs, why? cause functionality is always the premium.

Linovision is a preferred supplier. We purchased this as a simple PoE switch. Cameras worked fine over http but rtsp failed until we adjusted our software “Live555 stream transport settings”. Very happy now. Support from Linovision was super fast and friendly.
