It was just plug and play and works excellently. Needed it to run the surround sound system and a set of Bluetooth headphones at the same time, so I could listen at at higher volume that the rest of the room (a poor mans hearing aid - LOL) . It fit the bill perfectly. Great Product.

......I had it up and running in minutes....feeding 2 power bars. I ordered 2 new optical cables of the same length in case that's what is causing an echo for some people. No issues....I'm happy with the results.

Alright so my setup is 2 Samsung sound bars and 2 wireless subs with the Samsung surround kit and here’s the pros and consProsEnables me to double my bass and overall volume where it would be impossible without spending 50x on a entirely new kit to increase power.Simple and fast installReally decent build qualityReally good sound for priceConsThe device gets rather hot (we keep it near AC now)Need to buy another optical cablelag with outputs (sometimes noticeable)Every now and then one output is 1-2ms off but for sounds like gunshots it makes a echo effect. It’s not common but you will notice it maybe 2-3 times in a 4 hour gaming session (not enough to bother me at all)

Used this for optical out from TV to WiiM Ultra and to a separate stereo amplifier. Works perfectly.
