The same SHARC DSP chip found in our flagship Helix products enables the HX Stomp XL pedal to run up to eight processing blocks simultaneously, and the assignable footswitches let you access and control those blocks in powerful ways, making it flexible enough for use in nearly any application. Use HX Stomp XL as a “super stompbox,” a backup or travel rig, an add-on tone expander with other modelers, a professional-quality audio interface, or even a complete guitar or bass rig. The HX Stomp XL processor’s Command Center functionality, MIDI capabilities, and external expression pedal jack also make it an ideal master controller for your entire setup. HX Stomp XL comes loaded with more than 300 amps, cabs, and effects, including world-class polyphonic pitch-shifting effects. The 128 factory presets include vintage and modern sounds, and there are also presets created specifically for bass players, as well as individual bass amp and cab models. Additional features include a choice of true bypass and DSP bypass with trails, a stereo effects loop to integrate external devices or employ 4-Cable Method, a jack for two external footswitches or an expression pedal, third-party IR support, and a multichannel 24-bit/96kHz USB audio interface. The free HX Edit app lets you create, save and load presets, and customize nearly all pedal parameters. It’s also a preset librarian, IR loader, and more.

This is the best item of gear I've ever bought and I already own a Helix LT. It's just such a stunningly well designed product. I use the US Princess (Princeton) model all the time and it's just beautiful.

Was debating between this and the LT for home / desk use as an upgrade from a 20 year old Pod XT with a failed LCD. Ended up with this because the LT was just too large and I didn't feel like I would need the extra DSP.The amount of tonal possibilities available within this unit is incredible, there's enough to please anyone.The interface is a bit hard to navigate and confusing at first, especially doing things like splitting paths, setting different values to snapshots and setting expression pedal settings, but you get used to it and it becomes second nature, the HX Edit program also helps a lot.One of the great features is the ability to use impulse responses where you can get realistic sounding cab / mic combinations, companies like Ownhammer, York audio and others have good affordable IRs for relatively cheap.Line 6 has been updating the Helix series for years, adding new effects, models, options etc. This further adds value to the device, and I see myself using this for a long time just like I did with the Pod XT.EDIT: If you're using this on a desk at home like I am, this tablet holder works perfectly with the Stomp, it's all metal too: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B08LDNFFSXAn update after a few months of using it: I'm still incredibly impressed by this unit even more so now then when I got the unit. I have still the HX Stomp on my small pedalboard for on the street giggin. I had the HX Effects and the Pod GO. The XL, for me, suits best for my bigger board and is one of my fave products in tha house.The Amazon offer was best, fast delivery, well packed.

I have been a plugin player recently and this unit has been excellent vs what I have in plugins. The flexibility is insane and it sounds fantastic. Great value for the money. It sounds great with my current pedals, and now I have everything I need consolidated on one small board.

I've only just received this and I'm still just figuring it out. I bought it to be my "bass rig" for the band I play bass in, but I can see this playing a role in my other bands where I play guitar.
