This is a simple little adapter, so there's not much to say other than it works. I often transfer files from SD or MicroSD cards to my phone or Chromebook (which have USB-C ports only), and this works perfectly to connect the regular USB card reader that I typically use on my desktop computer to either of these devices. I'll probably buy more just to have them on hand.

I have an iMAC, it doesn't work. I noted that on their label on the package, they don’t mention that this adapter is compatible with MacBook Pro/Air iPad Pro OTG. We see this mention of compatibility only on their description and title on Amazon. Perhaps I didn’t receive the good adapter. I don’t an expert in this field. This device seems to be hardy.

Opening the package was a bit disappointing but once I tried it on one device I needed to try it on all my devices. The micro B socket worked great on an older LG phone. The USB C socket worked on every divice but Fire 8 HD, don't know why. Finally the USB female adapter connected to all the above. Even has a stretchy thong to put on your wrist.
