Really like this so far, easy to assemble and mesh is very sturdy, maybe not the prettiest thing but keeps them baby’s safe.

We used this to temporarily hold a beta in a 20 Galon tank that has other fish. His 5 Galon tank had a built in filter/pump that malfunctioned. The net breeder is temporary for him but has worked really well. He's not really aware of the other fish so is fine until his new tank is ready.

Since getting this net breeder I've managed to keep baby fry fishes from being eaten by the adults. Really happy and it's spacious enough for them to swim around.

Not as solid as I had hoped for, but I guess it will serve the purpose and it is as pictured.

I needed something asap for a surprise bunch of babies and this did the trick. My one issue is that I wish this had suction cups instead of the metal side-holder things, because my adult guppies are adventurous and like to squeeze in against the back (no one has gotten snared, just a bit confused finding their way back out). It does feel a bit flimsy, but tightening the mesh solved that problem for me.

Perfect for my purposes. I should've known better, but I introduced 10 high grade red cherry shrimp to a tank with black skirted tetras. They quickly got picked off one by one. I happened to have ordered this for my future tank so I placed my remaining 5 shrimp in this net. Saved me from a complete disaster. It will be a great temporary fix until I have a separate tank ready and cycled. Is it kinda flimsy? Yes. But it also cost Overall, great buy for me but not suitable for all purposes.

Me llegó incompleto, hacía falta una patita para armarlo, intenté devolverlo y pedir que me enviaran nuevamente el producto pero la opción no estaba disponible, aún así pude utilizarlo para aislar a un pez que tenía lastimó y pudo recuperarse

I bought this for my third batch of angelfish fry because I didn't want to set up yet another tank. It worked really well for that. I could put the fry food in with them and the excess would drift through the mesh for the other fish to eat. I think it actually worked better than keeping them in a bare tank because the excess food wasn't sitting on the bottom. I positioned an airstone right next to the mesh so the resulting current kept the water circulating nicely through it and the fry have done very well.It isn't real sturdy, but it serves the purpose, and at this price I won't mind if I have to replace it after using it a few times.

I'm currently using it to isolate an aggressive fish. It works. The construction is very basic -- 2 plastic rectangles connected by 4 plastic sticks, with a net stretched over it. The construction doesn't appear durable and I expect something to fail after several rounds of assembly/disassembly.The "hooks" to attach the net to the tank are flexible metal plates that you bend around the edge of the tank. It's ugly, not sturdy, can easily break, and don't appear replaceable. They don't hold the net evenly in place -- the front edge hangs 1/2" lower than the back. I had to lower the water level in the tank to ensure that the front of the net is above the water line.Overall, it's fine for occasional use and the price is right. But I'd get something better for prolonged use, especially if it's going into a display tank.

it may feel *cheap* to some but it works wonderfully. So simple to put together and using Penn Plax's baby hide-out breeding grass in it allows the babies to hide once born for a worry-free birthing. The mesh allows for water flow-thru inside the aquarium so there's very little biofilm build-up inside it as occurs with clear plastic enclosed breeders. Once the mother is done, she is simply removed and the babies can stay safely inside. All of my babies survived as the mesh allows for water to go thru it in the tank (unlike the plastic ones so no need for bubbler in this) simply place it away from strong flow/current
