The rim of the strainer/stopper sits above the bottom of my sink which means that the stopper is easily dislodged by silverware in the sink. This is because the stainless steel bowl is taller than the original and the rubber is also taller overall. The Everflow 75511 appears to be lower; at least the Everflow bowl is lower according to a reviewer who measured it at 0.77 inches, that is approx. 3/4-inch.

This sink stopper is working great in our kitchen RV sink. Fits perfectly. Good quality and should last for years.

This 1.5 inch strainer/stopper is identical in every way to the strainer we replaced, except that the center post now appears to be chrome-plated brass or stainless steel, not chrome-plated steel. The old strainer post started looking rusty several years ago, but we never got around to replacing it. A small thing perhaps, but better than rust.It was exceedingly difficult to find this duplicate strainer because the search engine kept offering up strainers of different sizes, "universal" strainers, and remarkably flimsy strainers. We kept changing search terms, and finally found it under an incorrect item in the list of "Customers also bought...."

We needed a new sink drain for our travel trailer and this fit perfectly. Our old one always kept never kept any of the water in but this one works so much better! I now can actually wash dishes without filling up the sink twice. It does what it's suppose to. I am very happy with my purchase.

This plug does not work in utility sings. It gets stuck and when you pull real hard to get it out and it then falls apart..

Product itself is very nice, fits a laundry tub perfectly. However, I purchased this as a strainer and a stopper, no fault of anyone, but I now find that I cannot use it as a stopper because the rubber feet on the bottom of this item is actually only intended for drains that have 4 dividers. Mine, however, has only 3. See picture. Therefore, it won't drop down to the drain enough to be a stopper. Still works perfectly well as a strainer though.
