So I recently upgraded my ebike to a Gazelle mid-drive unit to the tune of $4K. It was time to upgrade my security.This is 1 of two kryptonite locks I purchased. I also picked up a Ulock.This is a very heavy duty chain and it works very well to secure the front rim to the frame. I love that it is a combo lock as I'm not a big fan of key locks, too easy to lose the keys!It was easy to reset the combination and works flawlessly (I should hope so for a $60 lock)There is no perfectly secure solution for bike thieves and with the value of the new generation of ebikes, cyclists need to create as many deterrents on "their" bikes to make the thieves look elsewhere. I also added an alarm that looks like a bike light that is activated by motion and has a 113db siren. Looking forward to the first time someone triggers it, I hope I'm close by!I highly recommend this lock, keep your bikes safe folks!

I love this lock because you can wear it around your hip and not have to worry about it being on your bike. It does as quite a bit of weight though so do consider this. The velcro that holds the cloth in place does come lose VERY often – easy fix with some electrical tape but was super annoying at first. Otherwise, great chain lock. Love this brand, very reliable.

I like the length - it's perfect for being able to secure my bike and cart together while locking to a post. Heavy duty and seems like it would be very difficult to cut quickly. I feel it's more secure than the old lock I had but I have no idea how it would perform if a thief were determined to break it.

It is a bit heavy. It doesn't fit around the bike frame so good but it is a very secure bike lock. The biggest problem i have with this lock is that it wont open unless the 4 digits are perfectly aligned. It seems to very finicky with how the steel disks are resting. The chain is long enough to go through the bike frame, tire, and stand so that is a good feature I like. I asked a bike shop employee about how secure my lock is. He said that it would take a very big strong athlete to use bolt cutters to cut the chain. An angle grinder will certainly get through that chain but they attract too much attention and require a power source.

Kypronite knows what they're doing. Following their security chart I find this lock to be perfect for my expensive ebike.I have no fears leaving my ebike outside shops for 30-45 mins now in my semi-urban community. I wouldn't want to leave it out all day, but it's not rated for that either, although I'd bet it would still stop 9/10 attempts.I do lock it up all day, but it's in a monitored parking lot, so not really risky.I can carry it around my handle bars or also wrapped around the top front of the frame.It would be nice if the head of the lock had a rubberized coating, to prevent scratching the bikes.

These are really nice. After getting the first one, bought two more. No keys to keep track of. Very solid lock mechanism. Heavy enough to be a deterrent I hope, and certainly better than any cable lock. Look for them in Amazon returns listings. Saves a few dollars.

Awesome lock for my bike. I feel that my bike is very safe when locked, it looks imposing. The length is perfect, not too long not too short. That’s the one for me.

Es un producto de gran calidad, tanto la tela como la cadena de acero son muy resistentes. Es pesada pero flexible y la puedes amarrar a cualquier poste. La contraseña es fácil de establecer y es súper segura cuando está cerrada. Recomiendo 100%
