Keys were easy to program for both passive immobilizer and the keyfob functions using instructions found online for my 2012 F150. They work perfectly.

Worked exactly as described. Programming is just like described in prior review. Has range as good as factory remote. Had to try a few different locksmiths to cut the keys though, as some made BS claim that these cheap Chinese made keys ate made with hard brass in them which wrecks their key cutters… but in my opinion they wouldn’t because they want you to buy their cheap Chinese version for al lot kore money.

Worked out of the box on my 2011 F250 Diesel. After 6 months use the paint as worn off but for the price from ford you could be a dozen of these things. You should use a top quality lock smith to cut these keys

Thanks to the Amazon parts matching process, the keys were the prefect replacement and way cheaper than the dealership 💰💰

My Vehicle is a 2011 Ford F150 LariatI was skeptical that this was going to work but after calling the dealer and finding out it was going to cost $130.00 to get one key, I decided to give it a try.I got two uncut keys for around $36.00 total. I took the two keys to the hardware store and asked them if I could pay them to cut the keys. They said they wouldn't guarantee anything but agreed. Heck, they didn't even charge me. I then followed the instructions provided on the website to program the keys. A link to the site is provided with the keys.First I programmed the transponder in both keys so that they would start the truck. (BOTH your original vehicle keys are required to do this process).Secondly, I programmed the remote buttons on the keys. (This only required ONE original key)Everything worked, even the remote starter.I'm one happy camper!Thank You Keyless 2 GOOne last thing, I think i saw people saying that the keys seemed cheap compared to the originals but I can't see any difference. They seem like good quality to me. I'll follow up if I have any issues.

It worked! For those of you that have a 2013 Ford Explorer these worked great! Make sure you have 2 already programmed keys. You'll need to do 2 different program sequences or at least I did. One for programing the key to work and the other to program the keyless entry buttons. I'll post the sequences below. Good luck!!!Key Program:1. Insert an existing (working) key into the ignition cylinder.2. Turn the ignition cylinder ON (just shy of starting the car Without cranking the engine) and back to OFF. Ignition should stay in ON position for at least one second.3. Remove the existing key and WITHIN TEN SECONDS, insert a second working key and turn to ON and then back to OFF. Ignition must be on for at least one second but no more than ten seconds. Remove key.4. Insert the New (unprogrammed) key before twenty seconds have elapsed and turn to ON. Leave it in the ON position for at least one second and turn back to OFF.5. The security light will light up for THREE seconds to indicate the new key has been successfully programmed. (Mine Didn't)Keyless Entry Buttons:1.Close all doors, then open drivers door and press the Unlock button on driver’s door while it is open, insert key into ignition.2.Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times within 8 seconds, with the 8th time ending in RUN. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming mode. (if the door locks do not cycle, then it was done incorrectly. You must start over by removing key and beginning from step 1)(Off is the position where you can remove your key, RUN is the position just shy of starting your car.)3.Within 10 seconds press any button on the first keyless remote to be programmed. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming. If you only have one remote then skip to step 5.4.Within 10 seconds, press any button on the second keyless remote. Door locks will cycle again to confirm programming. Repeat step 4. for all other remotes.5.Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode.

The keys do work very well, even at distance...probably better than the stock Ford key. I had a locksmith cut and program the keys for $125.I saw there was a video on how to program the keys if you had both originals....which I did. The video only works to start the truck in the ignition...you WILL need a locksmith to properly program the keys to operate the locks and the remote start button. The video I watched only worked for the key...not the buttons. I watched the locksmith and it took a LOT of turns of each key to program properly. In the end, even with the cost of the keys and locksmith, I saved a LOT of money! Well worth the purchase IMHO.

These keys are great! My 2014 f150 original keys only had 3 buttons with a seperate fob for the remote start, so I wasn't sure these new keys with the remote start would work. Well they work perfectly. Just hit the lock button before hitting the remote start button twice. keyfobprogram.com has great instructions on programming keys to your truck (2 processes, one to start the truck and one for keyless remote portion.) You also need to have the keys cut first.

I was able to get these working for $4 + tax. That was the cost for the hardware store to cut each side of two keys. Programming was super simple, and took all of about 2 minutes. Locksmith would have charged me $80. I'll definitely be going this route with any future keys I need for my vehicles.March 2017 Update: I was recently having issues with the lock button not working, or only working intermittently. Sometimes affected the other buttons. Thought it was the battery at first, until one day, only the lock button was not working. All others appeared to be fine. I planned to open up the unit, and take a look at the board inside. I pop off the back, and realize the board is sealed into the housing. Fortunately, the rubber front where the buttons are able to be removed. This revealed the issue; the convex piece of metal over the button, which makes the "click" sound when you press it, had fallen off. I used a piece of tape, aligned the metal over the correct spot, and put it back together. It's been working fine for a few weeks now. Not sure if this was just a fluke, but I've never had this happen to a key fob before.
