I bought this while on sale knowing that it may not fit my very old K3.48 model. I read that others were able to remove the head and attach it to thier old wand, so being a creative repairman I went ahead with my order.Once I received it I realized that all I needed to do to make the whole wand work was to remove part of the plastic at the top of the wand where it connects to the handle.See image showing where I cut the top plastic ring off.It fits and works perfectly on my old unit.

This does not fit the K2 compact. The Wand Fitting looks the same, but is not deep enough to engage . It will not turn & lock. Unsure if I can modify it or have to return it. Package said , "package open", before purchasing. Got it at a discount, so maybe try to modify. A bit of Red Green or MacIver in me.I took an axesaw blade to it & cut about 1/4 inch off the push in part. Works great.

My original Karcher power washer wand quit working properly. It acted like it was clogged, so I bought another wand hoping there wasn't a problem with the unit itself. The replacement wand did the trick. It works great again.

An adapter is needed for older pressure washers. I forgot to order the adapter and found that you don't need it if you have a hacksaw. Cut a little plastic from the end of the wand and it fits without the adapter.

This was a replacement for the one that came with my Karcher power washer, which stopped operating properly after 3 years of use (the wand, not the power washer). It appears to work as well as the original, but is too expensive in my opinion.
