I don't know why the brand name and images on Amazon are so generic, because this really does seem to be the official one offered on Nintendo's own online store with complete branding and everything.Nice little item. The rails are a bit tight, I don't know if it'll become easier to slide Joycons on or off over time or not. And even for someone with big hands like myself, it's not too small to hold while playing slower-paced games. I definitely wouldn't try to play Smash with this, but something like Mario RPG is great.

Item worked as expected. I am almost certain this isn't a true nintendo accessory, but it does say "nintendo" on the front of the changing stand in case anyone cares about that. It can only charge 2 controllers at a time, so this has been a nice backup charger for our extra controller set. We've been using it for several weeks now and it charges our controllers just fine. Time until full charge seemed on par with our "name brand" accessories. It was fairly easy/straightforward to setup as well. The various cables don't fit together quite as seamlessly as I had hoped, but for the price, it's not a bad option!

If you need a charger so you can charge your NES controllers off of the Switch this is what you need. Mine came with Nintendo and Switch branding on the device in an unbranded box. The stand is sturdy for being light and the charger clips in to the base which makes it very secure. It also feels very stable when placed on a flat surface, and holes for wire management keep the cable out of the way. If you don't plan on ever using it as a charging controller I do recommend buying a 90 degree USB C cable for a cleaner look.

Gear for me, I have nyxi joycons are larger than oem ones, and they don’t fit in other joycon charger docks, this is the best choice for me

We picked this up so we could keep our extra Joy-Cons charged and ready for family Mario Kart nights—and it does exactly what we need.Pros:-- Charges two Joy-Cons at once without needing to plug into the Switch-- Compact and fits nicely on a shelf or entertainment center-- Lights show charging status clearly—helpful for the kids-- Comes with its own USB charging cable-- Works well with both left and right Joy-Cons snapping in easilyCons:-- No brand labeling, feels a little generic (but works fine)-- Cable is a bit short if you don’t have a USB port nearby-- Doesn’t have a “click-in” lock, so make sure it’s sitting level to charge
