Hey drummer (and/or backliner)! Do you play on various stages with different drum kits?

Then you are at the right place with JK Drum Systems. Our JK Hooves 2-Pack & 16-Pack are designed to stabilize your drum set, ensuring it stays in place no matter how hard you play. With a modern design that acts as an eyecatcher, these hooves are not only functional but also stylish.

Each hoove is provided with hook fastener for easy attachment and removal, and they allow you to mark your personal position on the carpet for consistent setups. The 90-degree angle opening makes them suitable for locking up your pedals, ensuring everything stays in place. Additionally, there is space for indication labels on the top surface, making it easy to keep your drum kit organized.

Used by renowned artists like Metallica, Rammstein, Slipknot, Adele, Thomas Lang, Drumeo and many others, these hooves are a must-have for any serious drummer.

The set consists of 2 JK Hooves, each weighing approximately 0.13 lb and measuring Ø4,17 inch x 0,98 inch.

If your mat doesn’t work with Velcro, we recommend the following compatible mats: Pearl, Meinl (Black and Oriental), Protection Racket, Roland, Ahead, Tama, Zildjian, and Thomann drum mats. You can also use our JK Drumplates sets (P-Series and SP-Series). Alternatively, secure the JK Hoove with screws by screwing through the mat from underneath into the hoove, using 0.787” screws with a conical head and a washer for added stability.

If you have a fixed riser, you can still use the JK Hooves. The hooves consist of two parts: a base and a cover, which can be easily separated. Screw the base onto your drum riser using 3 screws with a conical head and a washer for sufficient support. Then, place the cover on the base for a neat and secure setup.

Been using these for 5 years now and they're never failed or moved the slightest bit. First pair i bought are still on the rug after 5 years and folding the rug over 100 times since

Considering that these are plastic and Velcro, they seemed pricey to me. But what makes them well worth the money and what I am happy to support is the genius of this simple, super effective. Item. Thank you to the inventor.

I got these plates to use with my bass drum, but it looks like I will be using them with some of my hand percussion stands as well.It is important to note that the velcro doesn't attach equally to all rugs or mats. In my case, I have a low pile rug, not exactly a drum mat, and the plates do not attach as well as when I use drum rugs (see photos for reference). That's why I am keeping one star. Still, these plates stop very well my 18" bass drum. They are very lightweight and do not take up much space, which is good for keeping them in the hardware case or gig toolbox.

Full disclosure- I got thus item for free through amazon vine in exchange for my review. However I give honest reviews and consider the price point (for instance I don't compare 15$ items to 100$ versions) and what the purpose of the item is.These may be perfect for you and a quick solution. I do plan to use them for something, however not what i initially planned. You do have to consider that whatever you use them for on your kit, it has to have a rug that will latch to velcro- or install mating velcro to the locations. They are basically lightweight plastic partial circles with velcro attached. you can set them against or around stand feet, bass drum spurs, etc and they will help prevent walking. You can't really use them in front of a straight edge- for instance the front of a slave bass drum pedal- because of the shape- so in this case you have to use one on each corner of that pedal, if you have room (and that is usually a crowded area with the hihat stand, etc,). I can see them being useful in a number of applications, however.the other reason for the lower stars- while I understand that there is overhead and that these are a new item so production cost may be a bit higher- the list price for a pair of these is a bit on the high side, and would make it prohibitive for most drummers to use on a whole kit. As a do it yourself, I could adhese velcro to small blocks of wood or plastic custom shaped for their position. However not everyone can or is willing to do that- so - my verdict is- they may work for you in one of your situations and with a quick 2 day shipping you could have a problem solved.
