I bought this several months ago but until yesterday had not used. If you take the time to Polish the metal before use it gives a great copper coating in ten seconds.

You will get a much better, and way cheaper, finish with spray paint. This is junk. It flakes right off and is splotchy. I ruined the item I was using it on. It is toxic and now I have to figure out how to get rid of it.

I just brushed this liquid onto the metal plate I had cleaned and scrubbed and it turned copper.
