Lightweight with long, arched jaws. Despite the appearance, it is robust enough to hold anything it can get it’s 4” inch jaws around. Needs a good squeeze to hold firmly. This is not a $50-$60 holding clamp. It is a helping hand, and as such, it is a welcome addition to my shop.

Decent clamp strength (It is not a bar clamp!). Price good. The grip is slippery, and Irwin should have flared out the end of the handles so that you can get a better grip when squeezing. I will rough up the handles to add texture or add rocker guard to them to reduce the slipperyness - the point is that this is a one handed clamp so you should be able to use one hand when squeezing it shut. I wish they would make a 3”. There is no other good alternative option to this clamp in the marketplace at this price point option so I would buy again and customize the handles accordingly.

These clamps won’t hold anything snuggly. They loosen and slip. A waste of money.

Works pretty well for light applications. But, it's not something you can just close and have a firm grip. You really have to squeeze it hard, and even then, it doesn't hold as well as I would like. However, it is easy to clamp and unclamp, and move around.

These are perfect when you are alone and need to clamp something in place. I use them all the time. They have a large landing and open to 4 inches if needed. Great in a pinch!

I assumed wrongly that it held objects like a vise. It only holds together what force your hands can squeeze. The rubber grips will fall off and although easy to reattach, will add to the dissatisfaction of its design. I cannot therefore recommend this object as it cannot serve any real purpose... if you need something that clamps object together like a arthritic person with diminished grip strength, then still don't buy it. It cannot clamp sufficient enough to be useful.

Good quality product. The brand speaks for itself. I will recommend this for all DIY enthusiasts. Note if you need just a clamp, there are other cheaper options but if you need a quick release, high quality, single hand operation clamp, this is it.
