Incredible television.Update:Had the television for almost a month.Incredible sound and picture quality. The subwoofer in the back makes for a very complete surround sound. Very high levels of brightness. The built in ai rendering is phenomenal. Image wise easily competes with higher end tvs. A lot of value here. The ui is snappy and responsive, no lag like other fire tvs. Ambient experience is nice, looking forward to the motion sensor integration. Dark images can sometimes be difficult to see in a very bright room. Still figuring out optimal settings but filmmaker Dolby vision is breathtaking and seems to be the way to go. Contrast competes with an oled - not quite as deep or sharp, but very close to.Very good purchase, keeping at 5 stars. This is a high end model, worth the money.

I am extremely happy with the Amazon Fire TV 55 inch. The picture quality is excellent, with sharp colors and clear visuals. The best part is the sound – the built-in subwoofer at the back gives an amazing audio experience. It feels like having a mini home theater. Definitely a great purchase, highly recommended!

This TV is great and for the price it delivers great picture quality. The only reason I removed a star is because the fireTV operating system is a little intrusive and the way the settings menu works is lack luster and confusing. Once you've dialed in all the settings and removed or added consent to what it keeps track of the TV itself is amazing.

3 big drawbacks1 A bug - TV drops HDMI sounds when using set top box specifically when forwarding recorded shows.2 No support for Alexa home theatre with each studio speakers.3 No volume synchronization with volume when setup in music group.Hopefully this changes in the future.

I purchased this tv for gaming and watching tv in my bedroom. I’ve only had it for 4 days and so far it has been great. I really like all the features it has and picture quality is superb, it competes with my more expensive Samsung tv in my living room. Totally recommend it. I will try to update review in a few months so see if it still working as great as is now.

The tv stopped working properly after 5 months. I spent 2 to 3 hrs on the phone dealing with customer service and it was infuriating. I was transferred a dozen times minimum and each time I had to repeat the issue, which would have been fine if the people I spoke to had any idea what to do besides keep asking me to reboot the damn thing, but then sent off to do the same thing with another person. I was blamed for breaking the tv by water getting inside it.. It was mounted on the wall since arriving, never touched, nowhere near water, in a living room that I do not allow food into.. I read reviews online about Fire tvs and the issue was actually pretty common and not from water damage. They did replace it with a newer model so I was frustrated with the experience but happy it was resolved. Unfortunately, they sent the replacement and a random 2nd tv (completely different tv) and I spent MONTHS trying to return it and they would not take it back! I was lied to so many times by customer service. I was told they put in for pick up: lie. I was told it could not be picked up and I could keep it free of charge: lie. I was charged for it! I was then told that I said I wanted to keep the tv, that it wasn't offered to me: lie. I was told I had to pack it up and send it back by Purolator but when I stated that wasn't a possibility because I am disabled and don't drive because of that, I was told that was my only option. OR pay to send it back. Pay to send back something I. DID. NOT. ORDER. because they would not be picking up the damn thing. I was told fine, they would deactivate it and refund me: lie. From end of Dec to mid Feb I dealt with horrible customer service and they just outright lie to you. I was even told it was purchased by my husband as a gift. My husband can't send a tv from their end and mark it as replacement then go back and charge us for on from their end! I have screen shots of numerous lies but unfortunately they insist on phone calls a lot of the time and it's because you can't keep record of it and they lie outright about what they say over the phone. Last week I finally got to the end of the line for people to speak with I guess and was told the tv would be bricked, filed as lost and I would be refunded (but wait, they already said that!). I was refunded and now have a bricked tv sitting in my house that I glare at when I go by. I was told to keep it and use it (it should not even be usable if bricked!) Or throw it away. The second I throw that thing away, I'll likely be recharged and won't have the it to fight back for my money back. For a tv I did NOT order. Save yourself the trouble and buy a tv in person or just not a Fire one. If something goes wrong, it's he'll to deal with.

So far it's been great. The video is vivid on normal and game setting is great. I'm amazed by the sound that comes out of it. Never heard a TV sound like this. The bass is out of this world. So far, my experience had been better then the last big name tv i just replaced. Alexa works smoothly and fast. Overall, for what you get, can't be beaten.

Features to price this TV is great. Picture is amazing. Sounds is good with built-in sub. I came from a 7 year old 65" Sony led which I am still using but this FireTV is superior.
