One part of my basement gets quite cold due to a lack of insulation and airflow. I recently purchased this device for a couple of reasons. My heater isn't a smart heater. Using this device will keep the temp stable and reduce cost by not always leaving a heater on. A few weeks after purchasing I have to say I am really happy with it, and it has been running without issue.Packaging and shippingThe product was at my house in Canada in 2 days, which is amazing. The packaging of the product was incredible and felt very premium.QualityThe construction of this device is top-notch. It is quite hefty for the smart plug.I have tried a few other products that felt light as a feather and would flip around.The temperature cable is very long and well-built.AtheticsThis device is not something you will want to "hide away." Its design of curved lines, colour, and texture screams a premium product.Temp AccuracyI tested this device briefly with a few other trusted items, and the temperature was always accurate.App QualityI have purchased other Inkbird products for my BBQ obsession, so I love the idea that I didn't need "another" app. The latest software has been rock solid and very easy to use.Potential Improvements for Version 2?The cable was a good length and helped ensure the device fit within a certain box size. The electric cord will be long enough for most people 97% of the time; however, if it was even a foot longer, I think it would fit 99% of people's needs.

I purchased the INKBIRD ITC-312 to use for my fermentation/serving fridge. It is a compact unit with LED display with outlets for both cooling and heating and 3 different ways to control temperature.What I like best about this controller is its Bluetooth controlled APP which allows settings, target temps to be changed as well as accessing and changing the various Temp Modes if desired.The App provides a lot of detailed information and displays the history with date, time, and temperature of my fermentation run cycle. It also breaks down how much time was spent cooling and heating a particular session as well as displaying the OFF time when no control is required. Also the collected data can be exported as a CSV file to Excel for charting purposes.Simple to set up, I did some test cycles to see how accurate the target range I was looking for and it did a good job of holding it within the select range. All said it’s a quality unit, good price, with a decent APP that works with no hang ups. The attached pics are of various test cycles I used.

The Inkbird temperature controller/monitor works as well as anything else Inkbird has released - which is to say, it does a great job.The Bluetooth connection was easy to set up and maintained all throughout my home without issue. The app is very intuitive and easy to navigate and offers a lot of great options, such as varying temperatures based on time of day, scheduling patterns, and more.This would be a great addition to your home if you have any temperature-controlled areas, like a terrarium, grow tent, or humidor.

Great product, app works well. Love the new sleek design! Best for users who need to maintain a certain temperature with the use of heating AND cooling as there is one outlet for heating and one for cooling.

Perfect for the small Homebrewer with a fermenter fridge/freezer. This temp controller is fully programmable and keeps your set temperature exactly where you want it.The length of the probe is sufficient- and the app makes it very easy to use.Only recommendation would be to make it a little more obvious which outlet is for cold and which is for heat. The little sun/snowflake were hard to see- and only when I looked at the box again know which outlet was which.The app is really slick and allows me to change the temp without even going down to the unit. Great for those temp changes during a fermentation cycle. Can even program it to make those changes on a schedule- love it!
