Honestly one of the best choices my kid has made for tricking out the look of his 2013 VW GTI. Didn't take long to install and the look incredible. Simply pop out the old ones, undo the connectors, and then repeat in reverse.Completely blacked out when the car is off, so they are invisible on his black bumper. The amber line, when lit up, is a really cool look!

Wanted to get rid of the orange lens with the LED’s I had in them and found this. Had them on for a few days now and they haven’t given any issues. They look good and are bright. They fit basically like OEM and install took me a solid 5 mins. Quick tip, use T25 to take off the fender bolts and pull back the fender liner and you can slide your hand in and push out the old marker lights. They come with a load resistor and what I did so they don’t dangle around is just wrap them around in a loose knot and plugged everything in. Wish I had pictures to show but if you do buy it, you’ll probably figure it out. Overall super happy with it. Lastly I had chosen the smoked lens cause I thought it’d look cooler but whatever you choose, you’ll be happy with it!

These were easy to install and mount, with overall installation taking no more than 20min (if you’ve ever had to change your marker light bulbs yourself). The resistor is not directly in-line with the power source for the assembly, so you have to figure out where to mount it. I chose to use double-sided permanent mounting tape ($5 off-white foam looking stuff from Ace Hardware) to mount the resistor underneath where the light assembly itself mounts into the bumper cover.These are super bright at night and in low light, and if you’ve upgraded your head and taillight assemblies on your Mk6 Golf to LEDs these are a must to complete the exterior lighting upgrades. (My headlights shown in this picture are from Supernova Lighting in Australia).Tools needed for install:-ratchet with 3in extension-torx bit driver for the fender liner screws (I believe T25)-double sided permanent mounting tape (I highly recommend the somewhat foam looking stuff that you can buy at most hardware stores)Remember to turn your wheels to get better access when you install each side, and as always make sure you do a functional check before you move onto the next light assembly.

I have had this installed less than 6 months and tried to remove it. The connectors were basically frozen to the automobile connectors and caused significant corrosion on the automobile connectors and you can see the corrosion on the lights themselves when I finally got them removed. These units are completely useless now. I had to clean the automobile ones as best I could and reinstall the VW bulbs. Fortunately i did not leave them in longer so it did not completely destroy the metal in the automobile connectors and I was able to get away with cleaning those connectors and not replacing them.Sadly I did reach out to the company for assistance and I do not feel they stand behind their product as they stood behind their 90 day only warranty and did not seem to care that it did this damage to my car in this short a time. Overall disappointed with the product and the company. They should really stand behind this better because the 90 days I feel like should address the lights working, but corrosion / damage, they should stand behind it better.
