Bought this along with a WD Blue 3D NAND Sata SSD 1 TB Drive to install on my 8 year old PC after being fed up with slow boot times on a 7200RPM HDD while I wait for the parts for my new PC to be available.

This is, no doubt, a feature of the somewhat dated desktop case in which I installed the thing, but the provided screw holes were slightly too small to accept the mounting hardware in the drive bays. I used a wood screw of appropriate diameter to enlarge the holes (carefully!) and all was well after that.

I used this to increase the number of drives I could have in my Optiplex desktop.It is easy to install a pair of 3.5" drives into the bracket. The only catch with my particular desktop is that it only has two SATA power ports (one reserved for the optical drive), so I needed to buy an SATA power Y splitter to power both drives.All in all, the bracket is fairly well made, and easy to use.

I really liked the spring loaded tooless design. It holds 2 ssds very firm. It helped upgrade an old case with 2.5" drive bays.

Work as advertised, and fit well on the 3.5in bay. Material feels a bit too soft however (hence 1 star away from perfect)Noted that it doesn't have screw-hole to fit the height of a floppy drive bay, which I was hoping to use it to fill.

3.5インチHDDから2.5インチSSDへの換装の際に、追加で購入。元々HDDが取り付いていた場所にこのケースがちょうど良い大きさで安定して取付できました。今回はSSD 1TBを1つだけ使用しましたが、3つまでセットできるようになっています。ちなみにPCはDELLのVOSTRO 3800スリムタワーです。

I have a small form-factor PC (SFF) that I am using for learning and labs, but it only contained 1x 3.5" drive bay and a slimline DVD drive. I wanted to to install 2x 2.5" drives (one system drive, 1 data drive), and I was toying with the idea of a DVD drive tray adapter you can get for fitting 2.5" drives, but this would be very specific and if I moved to a different PC, would be a waste of money.I did also toy with the idea of wedging the 2nd drive (or otherwise just taping / ad-hock securing somewhere in the case), but then I found this. It was just what I was looking for and an amazing price.Has the same screw mount points as a norml 3.5" drive so no issues fitting in the drive bay, but the 2.5" drives are very easy to slide in or remove afterward without tools and seem to be held securely (theres a "click" when secured).It's only plastic, but seems very sturdily made. It's intricate also, not basic. Somebody put a lot of thought into its design. Very happy with my purchase.
