When I received the item, the outer package was in tact. But... on the inside, a lot of the sealed plastic around the brush had been cut off using a sharp knife.By cutting the plastic... it left edges sharp enough to cut 2 of my fingers while removing the brush & also left cuts on the brush handle.Question... Why had the plastic packaging been cut?

For brushing scale from red hot steel you want to keep your hands clear. This brush does that!I had purchased a D handle wire brush years ago and I have worn it out. I’d been searching for a replacement for a long time and finally found this brush.I was extremely excited and even more so after using it.An excellent wire brush with many uses but especially ideal for Blacksmithing.I recommend it.

I like the feel of the handle, but what I wasn’t happy with is the scraper was dull, which meant I had to use my other scraper to remove the paint. So I had to have two different tools, which when you’re up on a ladder it sucked. That was the reason I got it, to scrap, and wire brush certain parts of the garage. I’m not real impressed with it but I kept it as I needed a new wire brush.

Handle is comfortable to hold and its light. Works good. I've used it scrape off light rust in metal and its holding up well. Would recommend.
