Bluetooth works well, plenty loud, ok features and ease of setup. The buttons around the top and sides are easy to hit by accident, so I would wall mount to avoid handling once setup. The sound fidelity is not great, especially at higher volumes.

I purchased this portable doorbell because i wanted the exact one i had before. It works great for me and only needs batteries once every two years. Very easy to hide and loud enough to hear thru the house. Love how small it is too. At Christmas you can change the chime to CHristmas tone. The outside piece velcros to the siding and looks very nice. Works great!

When the button needed a battery replacement on removing the button from the backing the tabs on the backing broke off. I called customer service and the first line agent declined to help me at all. The supervisor offered to replace it as a one time “goodwill” but said it was not a warranty issue. This item has a defective design. Only way to get the button off battery safely is sliding screwdriver on the left side but it seems to still snap the tabs off. I would not expect the item to last more than a year or so… it was good while it lasted…

I chose the Honeywell RDWL515A2000 to replace a deteriorated wired doorbell systemIt came well packaged with supplies for different types of mounting, the receiving unit and bell. Installation was easy and the instructions for installation and use were clear. I have not placed the receiver to the maximum distance stated so I do not know if it is effective. Purely for a doorbell basic function it has too many features that reflect in its price but if they are useful, I consider it a good buy

The quality just isn’t there. This is more of a toy. My first one didn’t want to work. Save the instructions because there isn’t any common sense to setting it up.

Replaced an old, traditional door bell with this wireless one, it's a great improvement (we can now hear it throughout the house). Lots of useful options: portable, muting, etc. Installation was very easy. We added a second button for the back door and programed a different sound, nice feature.
