I used this to attach a wireless camera to a galvanized steel garage. I thought for sure when Hurricane Helene came through that it would be knocked down. I live in SC and we had power lines and trees down and lost power for a week. This bad boy magnetic mount stayed in place!!! So impressed!!!

I was planning to mount a Eufy S3 Pro to a metal wall with this and the camera kept drooping down over time. The problem is that the connection between the cylindrical part with the magnetic plate can rotate.I almost returned this but ended up using it to mount a lighter camera from a horizontal surface (an awning) so the rotation of the base is not a problem. It works great in this configuration.
