I needed a larger junction box like this that would fit power cords for power tools. The extension cord, power tool cord, and inlet power all fit in and connected internally without issue. The box closed and attached to the wall as you would expect. The multi-sized rings for making it water resistent was nice and the glans hold the wire in place. If I want to duplicate this on another bench I will most likely purchase this again.

This review is for HoHaing Waterproof IP68 External Junction Box, 3 Way Plug Line Outdoor Electrical BoxThis is a plastic electrical junction box with inside dimensions of roughly 2.8 inches square and 1 inch deep. The cover is secured with 7 screws and has what looks like a silicone gasket with opposing male and female ribs to compress the gasket and thus make a good seal.There are three ports for wires, one on one side and two on the other. A common use would be dividing a circuit into two branches. Each port should contain only one cable with any number of conductors to get the best waterproofing result. There are several sizes of port gaskets for different diameter cables.There is about 7.84 cubic inches of splicing volume, which should be plenty for splicing 4 or 5 sets of conductors.The box can be secured to a flat surface by 4 screws or hollow wall anchors using bosses on the box.I used these to splice 14 gauge conductors from two Harbor Freight Solar panels in parallel to a solar charge controller. Installation was very easy and there was plenty of space left in the box.Overall, I would recommend these far any outdoor wire splices. Because the covers are removable, it is easy to inspect or revise the connections.

These junction boxes seem to be well-made with plenty of room inside the boxes to make wire connections. These boxes seem to be heavy-duty and robust and should work well outdoors. These junction boxes feature 3 sets of cable glands (1 set is preinstalled), a 3-position terminal strip, a phillips screwdriver, and mounting hardware. The cable glands appear to be able to fit about 1/4" diameter cable minimum to about 5/8" diameter cable maximum. Each weatherproof box features a durable weatherproof gasket as well as 4 mounting tabs on the back of the junction box. The outside of the box measures 3-1/8" x 3-1/4" x 1-1/2" height with the cover installed and 4-1/8" x 5-1/2" x 1-1/2" height including the cable glands and mounting tabs with the cover installed. The inside of the box measures 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" x 1-1/8" height.Overall, these weatherproof junction boxes appear to be heavy-duty and robust enough to use outdoors and would make great junction boxes for landscape lighting, broken extension cords, and many other applications. The included Phillips screwdriver is a nice addition that allows installers to get these junction boxes installed quickly without having to search for the right screwdriver.

So I was having trouble finding some junction boxes for my solar panels on my roof and I'm not recommending it for this application but it worked perfectly for me, I drilled a hole through the bottom of this box and the top of my roof and sealed it up very well and pre-drilled holes to put a few extra screws in and it doesn't leak at all and should last a very long time! I planned to paint it with a UV protective coating just in case and you cannot beat the convenience of taking some screws out If you ever want to change things up! Very weatherproof and highly recommended!

ETL. No problems fitting various wire sizes (12awg and 14awg). They tighten down and seal completely around the wire. Water isn't getting in this box. I really like the rail that makes it much easier to connect wires without having to use wire nuts. It makes for a much cleaner install. Highly recommended.
