Okay so they are hooks, but I’ve used these hooks for decades and while they are hard to find at local stores, they weren’t difficult to find at Amazon!

- These are among the better designed products for permanent wall hanging in drywall, especially for things on the heavier side. If you don't want to make a hole you can always go with the command strip style, but those can be somewhat unreliable or difficult. If you're looking for something permanent and making a hole is fine, these might be the way to go.- They are a more sturdy and reliable way of hanging frames because the little nails go in at a downwards angle, and won't just bend forwards and fall out under pressure. It's the difference between a nail straight into the wall and a hook over a ledge.- The hooks when pressed against the wall hold them at the correct angle for easy hammering, so you don't have to worry about measuring an angle or getting it right yourself.- The quantity is quite generous, and I don't imagine I'll be running out any time soon for just one household. They also give you a wide variety of hook options that support 10 all the way to 100 lbs.

Good value set of better quality picture hooks. They are strong and a bit more attractive to look at than your average bent metal variety. I know they are obscured by the picture but out of sight is not out of mind in my house.

I have been using this system for over 20 years to hang pictures, plates etc. This particular set in a plastic sectioned box I bought to give as a gift for a friend who moved into a new apartment. It is also practical as a house warming give or possibly for a college student. As the “nails” or “pins” are removed there is only a pin point hold left - no damage to the walls at all.
