The cabinet arrived and when I went to assemble it, I noticed that it was impossible to screw in one of the handles properly. It appeared that the holes for the screws in the handles were not quite deep enough. Also, there was a dent on the inside the bottom drawer. While customer service was not able to help with replacement parts, they did send out another unit to me at no charge, and I was able to take “the best of both worlds” and return the 1st cabinet.Pros:- Looks aesthetically pleasing.- Holds hanging files- Comes pre-assembled, except for the handles.- Lightweight, so easy for one person to lift, if needed (but for safety reasons, it would be good to have a friend help you).- Has 3 drawers, one small and two large.- The lock locks the top two drawers. (If you can’t find the keys, look in the 2nd drawer or check to see if they have fallen in the box.- Arrived quickly.- Customer service was helpful in resolving the issues I experienced, and the replacement arrived within a short time.Cons:- The handles do not always align properly with the holes for them in the cabinet, so you may still see a bit of the holes showing when you screw in the handles. This is a bit hit and miss. Sometimes they are fine, and sometimes they are not. They are a bit finicky. Unfortunately, replacement handles do not seem to be available, at least from Amazon, so they sent out another complete unit.- Handles stick out a bit, some remember to keep this extra length in mind if you are fitting the item into a small space.- The lock is not terribly sturdy, and only the top two drawers lock.- The cabinet itself does not appear terribly sturdy, and it doesn’t seem that the drawers can be taken all the way out should something fall behind the drawers.- Was a bit disappointing for the money spent, but it seems to be the best I can find at the moment that will fit in my space.- A black cabinet of the same design would have been about $50 cheaper. Not sure why white is more expensive.

It solves my need perfectly. However I would suggest that it be manufactured with wall anchor functionality to prevent tipping when the top drawer is fully open and there is insufficient counterbalancing weight in the bottom drawer to offset the unequal weight distribution.

Pour les besoins de la maison, ce classeur fait amplement l'affaire. Bien construit, tiroirs fonctionnels, sécuritaire (peut difficilement basculer). A été livré plus tôt que prévu et aucune égratignure. Assez robuste pour soutenir mon imprimante. Bonne hauteur et tiroirs profonds.

I ordered file cabinet to organize my household files. It is just the right size, very nice looking, and sturdy enough to last a very long time. The file drawers open and close smoothly and hold lots of standard hanging files perfectly. The smaller top drawer is perfect for extra empty folders and other office supplies. Handles were easy to install and drawer lock works great. I received right on time and in perfect condition. Great value for the price!

In this price range this file cabinet is a good choice. It has the storage utility of 2 file cabinet drawers and the bonus of a small drawer for office supplies. However I would like to see Amazon or Hirsh Industries offer a more robust 3 drawer fine cabinet similar to this one. I imagine it might cost twice as much or more but would be built to last in a busy environment. I suspect the drawer tracks will be the first thing to wear out on this bargain priced unit.

I received the cabinet in a timely manner. The cabinet came assembled except for having to attach the handles which was a bit difficult for an elderly lady. Much pressure had to be exerted manually for the screws to fit tightly into the holes in the handles so there'd be no rattling but perhaps this would not be an issue if I had an electric screwdriver. Although the cabinet are not very sturdy, the price was very reasonable and the product is more than appropriate for a home office. I particularly liked the white color as it blends with more colors than the common black cabinets. Additionally, the extra drawer at the top comes in quite handy for placing those files that are used often and need to be accessed on a regular basis.Overall, the cabinet's pricing is reasonable when compared with sky-high prices of other 2-drawer cabinets.

File cabinet arrived in perfect condition and on time. It has two big file drawers which open and close smoothly. I especially like the small pencil drawer on top that is large enough to hold small objects like pencil sharpener scissors even my phone and tablet. I really like the pearl white color.
