There is a feed tube to connect the lid to the bottom of the bottle. It's made of cheap plastic and split. I turned it upside down and connected the other end - that split too.By luck I had some silicone tubing on hand, so I replaced the tube and it works great now, so it's a good product let down by a bad part.

This product lasted me three hours. Yes, it's compatible with acetone, but it's low quality. The tube which attaches to the dispenser is too small so, of course, it cracked therefore the liquid doesn't reach the dispenser anymore and the product is useless. Can't believe I've wasted this much money on it.

This solvent dispenser bottle is made out of high density polyethylene with the dispenser mechanism made out of metal. The dispenser have a insert tube that you have to assemble. The tube is quite tight and may splits if there is any cracks around the neck of the tube. The bottle can handle isopropanol quite well but for acetone, it only recommend it for short period of use as acetone may damage and embrittle HDPE bottle.
