Extremely clear and detailed hifi sound with very good imaging. I am powering them with a FiiO K5 Pro and don't need any gain (gain setting 1 of 3) and comfortable listening at 1/2 volume so I would consider these to be fairly efficient. They are somewhat heavy but not too bad. The headband is nice and wide and so my head and scalp does not hurt after long periods, however, they do fit snug so I find they press a bit too much onto my head around jaw area. The ear cups fit perfect for smaller ears. They are not made with high end materials nor are they stylish as you can see. Construction is good but the vinyl fake leather is a bit of a disappointment at this price. The cable is okay but could be better. I find myself being very careful not to bend the cable because I fear it will kink and fail but the connectors are very good and fit tight without a worry they will pull out. The sound is what is most important for me and they deliver. A bit light on bass response but accurate. I just can't get over the accuracy and detail. Highly recommended for this price. I am very happy with these so far and am not sure how it could get better other than a bit more bass.Remeber, these are HiFi headphones. They don't have noise cancelling, they don't look pretty, they are not wireless. They are made for their accurate and detailed sound and that is exactly what you are getting here, not much more.

After looking into a good pair of headphones for around $500 CDN, I purchased these headphones. I have known many audiophiles who were big on electrostatic or planar magnetic speakers and this seemed like a good way to get into that.I've owned many pairs of headphones including Sony MDR-7506, pretty much every Bose Bluetooth headphone they've ever sold, and a bunch of in-ear earbuds including the RHA T10is so I know a little bit about how "mainstream" headphones sound and what they can do.I can say without that these headphones are without a doubt clearer, more balanced and tighter at every frequency. I hear things with these headphones that I can't easily hear in others; the bowed bass played during Linus and Lucy, for example - I had never really heard that clearly before these headphones.Also, since these are open-backed, I find the listening experience quite different. The overall sound is much less - direct? I don't feel the pressure of the sound in the same way that I do with closed-back headphones or, indeed, with earbuds. Also, I find the soundstage is much much wider than I've experienced before - I gather that this is due to headphones being open-backed as well as the overall headphone design.I had read in places that there wasn't really great bass with these headphones - I did not note that. I can say that the bass is far less apparent than with something like Bose or Sony Bluetooth noise-cancelling headphones, but it's much more controlled and, at appropriate volumes, sounds natural and accurate to me.Overall I'd recommend these as a great set of headphones for the price. I purchase some DAC/AMPs to play the sound through along with a balanced cable to try that out (and both had a positive affect - but the sound from even just my iPhone is superior on these cans.

I didn't know what to expect buying these. I was considering buying the HD600s because I've always been a low end Sennheiser guy... (I upgraded from the HD559s). I have always liked open backs, but I did some research and a lot of knowledgeable people said stay away from the overpriced HD600s... Not only are the HD600s more costly... they require more expensive amp/dacs to power their high impedance. So I figured I'd pick these up instead. I bought the Fiio K5 Pro amp/dac to go with them and wow... I am revisiting music I haven't listened to in years and noticing things I've never heard before. I can't explain the clarity these produce. It's amazing. If you listen to an orchestra play you can hear exactly where each instrument is. It's like you can picture how big the room is as the sound reverberates back to the microphone they recorded on.Vocals sound so warm and crisp. I have always liked above average bass and these don't disappoint. I especially love the K5 pro paired with these because you can adjust the highs and lows easily right next to the volume knob.They are also incredible for gaming. I used to have like a stereo sound with my HD559s where I could only really hear left or right back or front, but the Sundaras introduce this vertical soundstage where I can tell exactly where those annoying campers are in warzone. I was trash at warzone for the longest time, bought these and started winning within days. Don't underestimate how good audio can make experiencing every type of content better. Movies sound great, no pausing and going back to check what they said.I cannot say enough good thing about these.They have twice the size of the drivers in my HD559s plus they are planar magnetic (still not sure what that means but apparently at this price it's pretty rare to have a expensive feature like that). You'd think they'd be super uncomfortable on the head but the leather strap really helps. If you have a bigger head the clamping factor might be an issue but I have a skinny head and small ears so these fit great and I can wear them all day.When tunes are bumping you can still hear your surroundings, the open back is truly open, its like you aren't wearing them at all when nothing is playing.Build quality is night and day. Really glad I finally invested in a decent pair of cans... These are some double D ones too trust me.

リスニング環境にそれほどお金をかけるつもりはないのですが、平面駆動型のヘッドホンを持っておきたくて購入しました。ヘッドホンアンプにはSMSLのSH-9を使っています。評判通りの良い音で、自分の環境ならこれより上の平面駆動型は望まなくていいかな、という気がしています。セールだったこともあり、コスパは抜群です。＜良いところ＞・低音から高音まで満遍なく出ること少し前は平面駆動で開放型というと低音が弱いという評価がありましたが、本機にその印象は微塵もありません。無理して出しているようなブーミーさやキツさがないのが素晴らしく、全帯域で一定の高品質を保っているように思えます。・音場に余裕があってすっきりしていること開放型としては特別広い音場とは言えませんが、窮屈さや籠り感がない自然な音場です。すっきりしていて聴き疲れしません。それもあって、音の粒立ち、解像感が良く感じられます。・フィット感も悪くないこと前後非対称の厚さをもった肉厚のパッドで、比較的良くフィットします。軽いとは言えないものの、これくらいフィット感が良ければ疲れず使えます。＜今一つなところ＞・ヘッドバンドの長さ調節機構が雑なこと長さを変えようとするとギッとこすれる音がして、ヘッドバンド自体に傷が残ります。HiFimanの機種ではこれでもマシなほうだと思いますが、こういったところの造りは実績ある大手メーカーを見習ってほしいです。＜総評＞音量を取りづらいことを＜今一つなところ＞に書くか迷いました。確かにインピーダンスが低い割に音量は取りづらいです。ただ、開放型の本機を屋外で使うことはなさそうですし、屋内ならDACやヘッドホンアンプがある環境が多いと思うので、問題は生じないかと。もっと上のヘッドホンにするなら上流側に手を入れるべきな気がしていて、DACとアンプで3万円くらい＋ヘッドホンで3万円くらいという環境ならばベストなピースに思えます。ヘッドホンスパイラルの中で、一旦立ち止まる機会を与えてくれる点でもコスパが良いと言えます。

開放型の音場や抜けの良さはもうひとつですが、音の近さや中音域の密度感によりポップスやロックの相性はなかなか良いです。またhe400seよりも音量取りやすく気軽に使えるヘッドホンとしてお勧めします。

Estoy completamente fascinado con estos audífonos, la calidad de audio es muy pero muy buena, he tenido audio technica ath-ws1100is Solid Bass, sennheiser HD 599, DT 990 250ohm y los que mas me gustaban hasta el momento eran los 990, después compré los T1 2nd y no se si eran mis modelos en específico, si tenían un problema o algo, pero no me gustaba el sonido que daba, sentía como si hubiera una especie de pared que hacia el sonido muy pequeño, total que no me convencieron y los regresé, investigando mucho tenia ganas de unos planar magnetic y me decidí por estos, y el sonido PARA MI es muchísimo mejor que los T1. es un sonido muy limpio y muy ligero, todo está bastante bien equilibrado, no son audífonos "aburridos" de escuchar, todas las maravillas que decían los reviewers sobre estos audífonos son verdad.Si tuviera que decir algo negativo sería que el material del cable se ve de calidad mediocre, y que con el paso del tiempo de usarlos, la diadema hace una especie de crujido o sonido, pero nada del otro mundo.En conclusión, no se van a arrepentir de comprarlos, son en verdad excelentes por el precio que tienen.

Todo bien, excepto... un muy importante fallo, el cable que viene con el producto simplemente no sirve, es de pésima calidad, no solo estéticamente, al conectarlos por primera vez note que no funcionaba. Por suerte yo tenía otros cables con los que podía verificar si era el cable o los audífonos los que estaban fallando, y la respuesta es que el cable era el malo.El problema principal es: que hubiera pasado de no tener yo otro juego de cables?Pues yo no me hubiera arriesgado a pagar entre 50 o 100 dólares por un juego de cables nuevos para descubrir que posiblemente eran los audífonos los que estaban fallando. Es decir, de yo no tener los otros cables yo simplemente los hubiera regresado por no funcionar.Una vez que los escuchas, la cosa cambia. El sonido es excelente. El punto es: te arriesgarías a comprar algo que probablemente no funcione?
