Your cart is empty.Arkon’s CMPHD006 Heavy-Duty Aluminum Mount with 8” Multi-Angle Arm and 4-Hole AMPS Drill Base is designed for installations where mounting a camera to a wall or other flat solid surface (including car dashboards) is desired. The mount base uses a 4-Hole AMPS pattern to attach to the wall (screws are included) or other surface. (Formerly an industry standard, the 4-Hole AMPS pattern consists of four holes located in a rectangular pattern spaced at 30.17mm by 38.05mm, measured as the center-to-center distance between holes) CMPHD006 offers a 1/4”-20 mounting bolt for attaching compatible cameras, such as close-circuit television (CCTV) or security cameras, in-vehicle camera systems, POV cameras, point-and-shoot cameras, camcorders, or any device with a 1/4”-20 threaded mounting pattern. This mount includes Arkon’s Heavy-Duty Aluminum Mount with 8” Multi-Angle Arm and 4-Hole AMPS Drill Base. This sturdy 8”mount features three adjustment knobs at 2.5” intervals on the mount arm for easy positioning. Two additional 180° adjustment points at both the top and bottom of the mount provide additional flexibility in positioning the camera.

Very good, strong quality. It was smaller than we expected. Measurements are given but the pictures still make it look far larger. My pictures show it holding an iPhone which gives an idea of the perspective. We are using it to hold phones for a church live stream. Works great for that and holds them very steady. Moves in any direction required. Easy to adjust. In my picture, we attached our tripod base and arm to this arm. They are bigger. What you get from Amazon is just the small straight, black arm on the top.

Shockingly, this is an incredible product and I’m a picky customer. This makes up for a desktop tripod that was taking up too much space and was not a safe option for a heavy camera and lens.This is mounted to drywall using EZ-Anchors and I’ve added an arca Swiss adapter so that I’m not trying to spin my camera to the 1/4” mount.I highly recommend this product.

I bought two: one for my camera that I use as a webcam, one for my LED light used for video calls. These arms are super sturdy and easy to adjust. Highly recommended.

I used this as a mount for my small projector which I use for PDF sewing patterns. It works fine. It was difficult to get it tight enough, and the projector slipped out of position a few times before we got it adjusted properly. I was pleased that it only requires a few small holes on the wall.

I ordered this product and got it in two days as scheduled. Perfect for what intended, mounted my Canon XA30 camera. Perfect, though short in length but still okay. Love this product, will buy two more

I use this for our church to mount a dslr camera for live streaming, so far it still holding up a nikon d300 with a 18mm to 105mm lens along with a ptz mount attach to it. So it good.

Very sturdy, used to setup a video projector as close as possible from the ceiling and this great. Not easy to level but even if the ceiling is not leveled, it can be accurate

It works, but is very petite and not near as strong as they say, it barely holds my video camera, I have it mounted to the wall and had to make a larger base as the base is so tiny it can't hold a horizontal mount.

After trying a cheap 10 dollar option that failed miserably I was determined to find something that would just work, even if it cost a little more than I wanted to spend. Let me tell you, I'm so glad I spent the extra few bucks!This thing is so good. I'm using it in a little less traditional sense. I took an idea from one of the reviews here where they had their projector mounted on this and then some T-Track. I refined the design a bit as I wanted this thing to be really sturdy, and it is. I may have put most of my weight and hung off this thing for a split second to make sure it wasn't going anywhere... It didn't budge. Now I can move my camera into virtually any position I want for overhead and top down shots! If I need more range I can just mount more T-Track and bam.This mount uses the standard AMPS mounting pattern of 30x38mm. Mine also had three additional holes in a triangular pattern. I used some M3 head screws and nuts, I think they were 12mm in length. M4 screws will just fit though the holes, but I wanted a little wiggle room to account for just using a hand drill instead of drill press to bore them.The mount articulates very nicely with two ball joints on either end and an elbow joint in the middle. The elbow joint has teeth to keep it locked in place and the ball jointed have a small grooved pattern machined into them to really lock things into place. The camera and lens on here weigh in at only about 1.5lbs, but I can tell you thing can hold a lot more weight than that if it needed to. Not just hold it either, but LOCKS it into place. Super impressed with this mount that I actually purchased a different model Arkon mount to complete my setup.
