The box is well made and looks great; Will be perfect for grandson to store the premade and blank lens; I purchased a handheld microscope, hoping it’ll help get him outdoors more. He is 7.

I bought this based on other reviews. The box itself is made of hard plastic and very sturdy. It is well made, locks the lid securely in place and hasn't loosened when transported from A to B (stored vertically in my bag).The slots for the glass slides are also sturdy, keeping them in place. They are just wide enough to store two glass slides in each slot. I've stored mine singly and there are 100 slots. The lid has a lined card where you can write down the sample number of each slot. Overall it is a very useful box for storing microscope slides and at a fantastic price. I would definitely recommend buying.
