This is my review for theIesooy Elite headStrap for the meta quest 3. Is it worth the hype and the price tag?The build:This unit is a composite of plastic, TPU leather, memory foam and two metal accent peaces. I would say the overall quality is 7.5 out of 10. Not the cheapest accessory on the market. But compared to other units I've tested. It could use slightly heftier components. To instal the unit it will take you approximately 7 to 10 minutes. You can view videos on youtube and other sites if you encounter problems. The unit comes with a good instruction manual. But sometimes it takes visual medium to understand static pictures.Comfort:This unit really does enhance the overall experience you can have with the meta quest 3. The strap that comes with the unit is honestly awfully designed. It is uncomfortable and lacks in stability. This unit features an ergonomic head band and back plate that are both filled with soft foam. The plate that goes on the back of the head has small vent holes that helps with heat dissipation. All strap components are wrapped in a soft TPU leather that feels good against your skin. The other aspect of this model is it tension dial. Reminiscent of the psvr2. It offers gradual adjustments to fit your head with just the right amount of clamping force. Along side the top strap and back plate. It will effectively create a better centre of gravity. Helping the meta quest 3 stay in place. Subsequently it will reduce pressure on your nose and face.Final thoughts:This is a must have upgrade if you want to enjoy your new meta quest 3. Give yourself the gift of comfort and stability. With this fantastic peripheral. 4.7 out of 5

This review is for the Iesooy Elite headStrap for the Meta Quest 3 VR headset. The unit comes in 3 pieces. All that is required for assembly is to snap off the original head strap from the right and left side, and then snap on the new strap, attach the back padding to the inside of the new strap, and attach the Velcro upper padded strap from the VR headset to the top of the new rear strap. It only took a couple of minutes. The headband came with a small instruction sheet on how to assemble it, but I found that the illustrations were too small and not very clear. The new head strap is adjusted by turning the large adjusting wheel (on the back of the strap) clockwise to tighten, and to release it, you just push the center button of the adjusting wheel inward and all tension is released for removal. The original strap is terrible and very awkward to use. Actually, it is disgraceful that Meta would sell such an expensive VR headset with not much more than an elastic band strap for a head strap. The Iesooy Elite head strap is what it should have been sold with. I wear glasses which makes it a bit more difficult to put on and take off the headset, but using this headband makes the job much much easier. It also has a pivoting side band that allows the padded rear piece to grip either a higher or lower part of the back of your head if so desired. The upper and rear strap padding are covered with a soft plastic material that I assume is supposed to simulate soft leather. It is soft, but does feel cheap. The rest of the headset feels solid and made from good material. This headband is far superior to the original elastic headband and will make your VR experience much better. I highly recommend this product.

I purchased the Quest 3 strap with the expectation that it would redistribute the weight of the headset towards the back, alleviating pressure on my face. While it did shift some weight, the change wasn’t as substantial as I had hoped for. The headset does still press against my face quite firmly. However, it’s an improvement over the original strap provided by Meta, offering a more comfortable experience.

It's made of plastic, TPU leather, memory foam, and has two metal accents. Although it could be a bit sturdier, it does the job well. Installing it takes about 7 to 10 minutes, and the instruction manual is okay, but having some pictures would be helpful. But let me tell you, the comfort this headstrap provides is a total game-changer for the Meta Quest 3. It's designed ergonomically with soft foam padding on the headband and back plate. It even has vent holes to keep your head cool and soft TPU leather for a cozy feel. Compared to the original strap, it's way more comfortable. The tension dial is a great feature too. You can adjust it gradually to reduce pressure on your face and nose, and it helps the headset stay in place better. Overall, if you want a comfortable and stable VR experience, this headstrap is a must-have. I'd give it a solid 4.7 out of 5. Not only is it well-packaged and easy to install, but the material is also solid yet flexible, so it fits nicely around your head. The articulation knuckle makes it even more comfortable for long periods of wear. Just make sure to install the back head pad correctly to avoid any issues. If you're looking for a strap without a battery pack, this is the one you should go for. It's definitely worth it.
