Far better than the suction cup holder located on the windshield which was blocking the view and falling off. This baby folds up in a neat little package. Works great for me.....

I have been looking for some like this for months and it’s perfect. This hold my Tom Tom GPS as well as my iPhone and I’m very pleased. I just purchased some extra adhesive as some reviews said this wears off over time. I highly recommend this.

I misplaced my windshield suction holder that came with the Garmin GPS a long time ago. 1. it was a pain to even try to reach it because it was so far up the dash and 2. it was too hard to try and lay the GPS down or hold it so you could use it to navigate. This new clam shell style holder is just great! It is solid. It holds the GPS firmly while allowing full access to the touch screen. And you can stick it where you want, up close so you can see it and use the touch screen as much as you need to. And you can position it so your copilot can interact with it too. I don't know why it took me so long to research and see that this thing was available. Awesome holder!

Fits both my Iphone and Garmin Drivesmart. Finally, I dont have a bulky mount and it complements my dashboard material. Adhesive is not good. After sticking it on the dashboard, I pressed it firmly for 1 minute, let it rest for 3 hours under the sun. When I inserted my phone though, the mount came off the dashboard. I had to order a sticky mount pad from Amazon to keep it sticky and firm.

I hesitate sticking something on my dash, but the suction cup device holding my GPS has fallen several times. Now my GPS has a hoarse voice. I used a space heater in my car for 20", then attached it to my dash as directed and heated the car afterward for about 20". Drove last night. Absolutely no vibration at all. Held it super secure. I am very pleased with the placement. Note the size of it, wouldn't work on every dash. I am extremely pleased with it. It was a very good value for the money.
