I recently purchased the Govee Outdoor LED Strip Lights, and they exceeded my expectations in every way!First, the brightness is incredible. These lights are vibrant and bring a stunning pop of color to my outdoor space, whether it's for a casual evening or a lively gathering. The adjustable brightness feature allows for the perfect ambiance, from a subtle glow to full illumination.The Govee app is remarkable—intuitive, easy to navigate, and packed with features. It offers tons of preset light modes, making it fun to customize the lighting for any occasion, from festive celebrations to relaxing evenings. You can even create your own light patterns, which is a great touch for those who love to personalize their setup.Installation was a breeze. The adhesive backing is strong and reliable, and the included clips provided extra security, even in challenging spots. It’s clear that Govee designed this product with ease of use in mind.Only thing I cant find its a Y connector to extend it with another set which I bought 10 minutes after I installed the first one.

I am a big fan of LIFX LED light strips because they are very bright, but at the same time, very costly and the strip isn't very long. I needed an outdoor light strip to go under my gazebo that I can leave year round. I decided to give this one a try. I have tried other ones on the market and have ended up returning them because they either weren't as bright, too expensive, or cheaply made. I also needed one to work with Alexa. I also hate strips that work via IR; needed wifi capability. I must say, I'm quite impressed with this. The strip has the rubber coating you'll find with outdoor strips to protect the LEDs, unlike the other cheap strips where you feel like you can scratch off the LEDs. The strip is very long so I was able to wrap it around my whole 10x10 gazebo roof. App is very intuitive and I had no issues connecting with my Alexa. The light is not as bright as LIFX but at night, it lights up the Gazebo just fine that you can't even tell. Hopefully it holds up through the winter. For what you get, the price is a steal. My only gripe is that you can't add to the length without slicing and soldering, but 32.8' is still ideal.

I wanted lights that I could leave mounted under my eaves year round. I found these quite easy to install but not having great faith in the 3M tape to hold them in place, decided to use permanent clips. The lights includes some clips but not enough to properly hold the lights so I searched Amazon, tried some that didn't fit despite claiming that they would. Well I found some that do work - almost identical the the ones that came with the lights. They are MECCANIXITY Waterproof LED Strip Mounting Clips Holder Mounting Bracket Support Fixing Clamps Fit 12mm to 14mm Silicone LED Strip Lighting Translucent Pack of 120 for $CDN 20.49 though I am going to buy #6 screws to replace the #4 screws that come with the clips. I took a bit of learning but in the end the lights were fairly simple to program. They are very bright, seem durable, and give very good colour.

They would have been easier to install if I hadn’t done it myself but really it didn’t take long. Have been up since the beginning of November almost 3 months in our Canadian weather without issue.The app is fairly easy to use and I like you can also control the brightness. I’ll be able to turn them on for any season. So many cool options or build your own colour scheme.In the picture these are the super bright ones around the door and window.I wish the 2 lengths were end to end instead of each leading from the box as it made design a little more difficult.I got a lot of compliments for the Christmas look, can’t wait for the next holiday.

The lights started having issues around 3 months where sections of the light wouldn’t work.After 5 months I requested a replacement. Govee support is asking for videos of the lights before they will replace them. I have installed these on customers projects but will be switching to a higher quality brand such as Phillips Hue. Unfortunately the lights are not reliable, and the “rapid replacement” is more of a run-around replacement. Of course we have gone through all basic troubleshooting steps, but Govee support wants videos of us trying to troubleshoot them before they will replace them.I will also say the audio sync is usually off timing, the lights turn on at different times when set to turn in at the same time, the have low range for wifi so you need to install repeaters on small projects, and they are not modular so you can’t cut the LED strips. You’d be better off using an arduino and standard strips if you want better custom functionality.Out of the box I would give 3-4 stars, but if they don’t even last 6 months then you’d be better off spending double and getting a quality brand that has been around and actually offers customer support and replacements for defective or low quality products. So that’s why they get a 1 star from me.Also their RGB lights don’t offer yellow lights if you warm lights. You need to get RGBIC.

This is my second Govee light strip and the first one of the outside version. This is a review of the 66ft version. The make-up is that of a "Y", meaning you do not get 66ft of straight-line light, but rather "T'd" or "Y'd" in half. The 3M adhesive tape is pure garbage but the clips are perfect.It uses the standard App that any and all Govee users are already aware of.

The quality of the strip is high, with durable materials that have held up well to exposure. If you're looking for an easy-to-use, customizable outdoor lighting solution, this is a fantastic option. The only downside is that you may need to have a power outlet nearby, but that’s a minor consideration given how easy the setup is. I’ve received countless compliments on the vibrant colors and the overall aesthetic these lights add to my outdoor area.

Para la decoración del patio, está genial. Tiene muchas funcionalidades en la app la cual cuenta con valores predeterminados, timers, compatible con Alexa y lo mejor que se pueden compartir presets entre la comunidad para elegir los efectos de luces que mas te agraden. Es resistente al agua. En oferta esta increible el producto.

El producto es bueno, la calidad parece suficiente para colocarla al exterior, más no expuesta directamente a la luz solar. Puede ser una buena herramienta para días festivos ya que puede cambiar total o parcialmente de colores.
