My only worry about these toe ties is whether the velcro will last, but after my first skate with them, I have no complaints. Installation wasn't an issue. Didn't notice any increased tension in my ankles or hips, and didn't think about them at all during the skate. Time saved vs traditional laces is minimal, but anything that minimizes my time bent over helps since I'm not getting any younger. Price is definitely right vs other 'similar' products.

These were my favourite alternatives to laces before they kept breaking on me. I think I've gone through at least four or five pairs of these in the past year before I got fed up and switched back to laces. If you're a bigger guy such as myself, I feel that it puts too much strain on the product and it quickly begins to deteriorate. That being said, when they worked, they were awesome and installing them wasn't too much of a pain. I just wish that they were more durable (and a little less expensive). I guess it's back to laces for the time being...

Good price great product. Helps take stress from legs and hips by replacing the use of old leather toe straps and other toe ties.Has helped in new style goaltending training.

The idea was great.. seemed better than the laces. First time.. did a figure 8.. strapped them snug.. still slid under my blade and sliced cord in half. If you buy them make sure they are snug.
