Got this for my Brother-in-Law for Christmas. It comes in a nice sturdy transparent box and has 2 small brass sponges for use. The rubber anti-slip pad is nice as well because it can act as an insulator for ESD work as well as not slipping it around.When I explained how to use this to him he was very pleased.

Works great for basic soldering, has a spot on the ‘handle’ to lean your iron as you wipe, and it comes with 2 brass sponges. What more do you really need?

You can’t really rest your iron/pencil on the product, but the brass does a decent job of cleaning the iron, so that’s great!

J'ai acheté cette éponge en laiton pour nettoyer la pointe du fer à souder que j'utilise relativement souvent pour le filage de mon train miniature. Il ne suffit que d'une main pour l'utiliser et l'éponge en laiton a juste la dureté qu'il faut pour gratter le métal oxydé sur la pointe du fer. J'ai attendu longtemps avant de l'acheter, mais je suis maintenant fier de mon achat. 10/10
