Step 1
Strip the wire away from the insulation and insert the wires into a properly sized connector.
Step 2
Twist the exposed wires together, slide the connector to the bare wires.
Step 3
Use the heat gun to heat the connector from low temperature to high temperature until it shrinks to the wire tightly. DONE!

Work just like advertised. It does take a lot of heat to melt them though. Definitely need a heat gun capable of high heat.

I was reluctant to use these on my truck and trailer builds, and kept waiting for them to fail, but they seem to work VERY well. This kit replaces the 22-18 size that I ran out of in my original assortment, so I'm obviously using a lot of them.Be sure to completely melt the solder and watch it "flow out" into the wires to get a secure connection. In exposed or vulnerable areas I also cover them with sealing heat shrink for extra protection, although the cover on these connectors seems to be very robust.Certainly a game-changer for any 12V electrical work.

I've been using these for connecting LED strings to end connectors and they are super convenient for connecting wires that are side by side.

for me this product does not work at all, the solder will not melt as directed and the plastic melts firstthru it in the garbage sorry.

Works like it says it’s supposed to. The adhesive is quite strong and holds well. I do recommend if at all possible to use the heat gun instead of a lighter.

saved me on a tight spot, either to cut the cord and create an entire new crimps, or just fix the one broken wire and move on. This worked, and it is pretty good.

tried two connectors as tests before trying on my project. the two test were not very good, both times the solder joint was a cold solder which introduced a high resistance that i measured with my multimeter, compared to a same length wire as control with no joints. the ohms is much higher on connections made with this product. do not want to introduce higher resistance and the voltage drop associated with it. product not necessary for any project although maybe better for beginners. will just solder the connections the old fashioned way so i know i get proper joints and not cold solders.

I have used all style types of connectors and heat shrink. These ones by far where the best! I have used these on my 06 Tiburon. wiring up my stereo equipment, rear and front camera’s. also fog lights which are low to the ground and exposed to all the road elements and these connectors have yet to let me down I would HIGHLY Recommend these connectors!

I've used other brands and these seemed to work fine and the price was also competitive. I used these to replace led lights in some holiday inflatables and they do the trick. Time will tell on how well they keep moisture out.

They work, but care is needed. Expect to destroy one or two if you're not used to the heating process. You Ccan EASILY overheat the outer material, and ruin it. But it's an easy learn. Once used to them, they are quite nice. Economical & nice item.. Just need to use less heat, for a slower shrinking process than you may be used to.. After the first 2... You will like them..
