This seat is a great design, our family loves outdoor barbecues, but because there are so many people, we need two tables at a time, this seat is perfect for us. It's very sturdy, and it's easy to install, and the instructions that come with it are clear. This seat also has a great design, which is that there is an umbrella hole in the center of the table, which can be used with a parasol. Highly recommended for families with a lot of friends having dinner.

I recently purchased the picnic set for my family's backyard and it has quickly become one of our favorite outdoor furniture pieces. The installation took us around 1.5 hours, but the effort was worth it. The acacia wood looks beautiful and gives our yard a modern feel. We also added a clear coat to protect the wood for long term use.Our kids love having lunch and snacks on the table, and we appreciate the convenience of having a spot for outdoor meals. The metal frame provides sturdiness and stability, and the umbrella hole is a great feature for hot and sunny days. Overall, we are extremely happy with our purchase and would highly recommend this picnic table set to others.

First the positive. Both my wife and I are quite pleased with the assembled picnic table. It is exactly the size we were looking for. The table is sturdy, easily seats 4 adults, and has the look of a quality table. This table certainly seems to be durable, but obviously I will be in a better position to say, once this table has sat on our deck for a few years. The positives that I mention here have driven our strong rating. The challenge, though, is the assembly. I had read the complaints from other reviewers regarding the difficulty in assembling the picnic table, so approached assembly with some trepidation. While assembly was ultimately successful, it was a painful 4 to 5 hours under a hot sun required to put the table together. The indentations to be used for inserting screws were at times slightly off. This was especially true when securing the table planks with the bars underneath. If the bars are, as a result, slightly off, then securing the legs to the table can become challenging. Next, by trial and error, I found that it was more logical to flip the order of steps 2 and 3 and also flip the order of steps 5 and 6. So, for anyone who doesn't have much experience in assembling stuff, I would think twice about purchasing this table. From our perspective, our satisfaction in the end product easily offset the pain in putting the table together.UPDATE: It has now been 2 years since purchasing this picnic table. Unfortunately the table has not held up to outdoor use. I have attached 2 photos to show what has happened. As mentioned by some of the other reviewers, the boards will not stand up to inclement weather and will discolor and warp. I did sand and re-varnish the table every year, beginning just a few months after purchase. Even then, it was obvious that the color was beginning to fade.I did contact the manufacturer about purchasing replacement boards, but was told that they do not sell individual boards. At this point, 3 of the 5 boards have begun to discolor and warp. Therefore, I would strongly advise against purchasing this table. Not only is this table an absolute bear to assemble, as outlined above, the table does not stand up to outdoor weather. The table does look attractive when first assembled. Unless you intend to use this table indoors or plan to cover the table after every use, I would definitely recommend NOT purchasing this table. Clearly, I made a mistake. As a result, I have changed my rating from 5 to 1.

The design of this is great. It's sturdy. Generally pleased, but the one thing you should know before you buy....Just like anything you've bought from a place like IKEA over the last 20 years, it was likely a better quality a few years back and cost-cutting was applied to this like every other product affected by inflation. The quality of the wood is deceiving. At least many of the pieces appear to be a laminate. Cetrtainly the structural pieces under the main boards appear to be composite wood. This means that the wood screws they provide to put it together often strip and do not catch the wwood fibers, they just spin. Or worse, they do not get enough resistance and screw too far through the planks, piercing the other side. You assemble the table upside down and then flip it over. I ended up with about a dozen screws poking through the table top. Which is obviously a safety issue at worse. But also an aestetic issue as it damaged the wood. I'm not concerned about that as I'm using it as an outdoor table. But given that it is an outdoor table I am concerned that the composite will not last very long in all seasons. If I had a garage (I live in the city) I would probably put it away for the winter. As it is I sprayed it with a clear coat. But I should probably seal it with something more robust, or I anticipate the composite wood pieces will be the structural failure over time. The shame is that if I knew I would pay an extra $50 for hard wood, not composite, but I didn't know. Now you do. The hard part is knowing if competitors are any different. Hard to tell on Amazon.

Looks beautiful and material seems very good. Nice Acacia Wood table top, powder coated metal legs. We will see how it holds up. We are covering it with water proof cover since it is up in the Southern California mountains all year. It was not easy to assembly over 180 screws. My husband is a Tradesman so it was not a problem for him but it took 2 Man several hours and some holes were not in the right spot and had to be drilled. For the regular person this will be a tuff assembly.
