These consoles are problematic from Hyundai and no good way to fix them so this replacement console is the perfect answer. Installation was easy and works exactly like the original one used to before it went bad. The original units will wear the plastic to the point they quit making contact. I havent had this long enough to know if the same thing will happen over time but so far its at least as good as the OEM unit that came with the car and a much cheaper replacement compared to the dealer. Shipping was slow, but within the time frame that was estimated when I bought it so I knew the delay all along

This overhead lamp fit perfectly and works great in my wife's 2012 Hyundai Sonata.[One note: when installing the new part, make sure you remove the black square plastic nut that comes already in it. You'll easily see it. Part will not fit until you do. But this step wasn't in the instructions.]

Easy fit and great deal, dealer wanted to charge crazy amount. You can change this yourself with just a screw drivers.

The original assembly has 2 connectors. The main connector is located in the center of the unit. The new assembly has only the main connector and it is located on the far right side of the assembly. The cable harness is not long enough to install the dome light assembly.

I was skeptical at first, not knowing exactly what I was getting, and even after the package arrived I was still unsure. It had part numbers on it, just like the one I removed from my car, but the new one connected and fit just like the original and it works perfectly.
