Très satisfait du résultat cependant très difficile à changer vous devez avoir des petit bras et une très grosse patience hihi mais une fois bien installé les directions de l’air est rétablie et un chauffage adéquat s’installe

Worked perfectly to fix my chev cruze defrost issue. Says in the description it's a steering column part but it's not, it's actually the part the picture shows and not something else FYI.

Better part then the original that came with the car. Installation was easy.

This is the stronger updated replacement part.

This replaces the broken gear inside the dash to fix the defrost failure on the Chevy Cruze.Plenty of YouTube videos to show short cuts when replacing it so you don’t have to pull the whole dash apart.

Solid part, I don't understand why GM would install such a cheap thin piece of plastic to control your vent. Somewhat difficult to install especially if the actuator is out of line. Fixed my vent issue on my 2013 chevy cruze. No dash modifications were done cause I don't have big hands or forearms. Easy DIY amd skip the costly dealership.

Who wrote the description? This is the vent selector arm that is notorius for breaking in chevy cruzes. It works great and this is by far the cheapest price ive seen anywhere online

Every high mileage Cruze will eventually need this part when your HVAC unit no longer changes vent settings. Bought 2 and fixed 2 cars in 2 hours.

The original design has 2 small pieces of plastic that form the connection to the main lever for the gears. I'm not sure what kind of engineer thought this was a good design but this is a very common issue. The new design is a solid piece and seems to be designed to hold up better. The replacement of these in a 2016 Chevy Cruze is a pain. The location is very tight and not very visible. There are other pieces to the HVAC system in the way so you have to just juggle these levers out of the spot and then try to wiggle them back in. Took my about 3 hours to replace. I replaced both levers (yes there are 2 of these in the Cruze) so I dont have the same issue with the other lever. You also need to line these up in the center of the door gears to be able to get the system working correctly again. The "right" way is to then use a scan tool to run the relearn process on the actuator motor which requires a decent scan tool to perform.
